Loved this tour

Take a taxi or Uber. We like to walk and knew it would be 3.25 miles from our VRBO but Apple maps took us to the wrong entrance to the Park so after climbing a bazillion steps (some of the escalators were not working) we ended up having to go back down halfway - to back up again. Finally using Google maps we got to the correct place. Our guide Alex at Barna Tours was exceptional. The Park and Cathedral were amazing and did not disappoint. We enjoyed learning the history around both the park, cathedral and Gaudi. Alex was informative without bring boring. We would HIGHLY recommend this tour!!!!

Emilio - Best Guide!

The Alcazar and Cathedral tour was one of the highlights of our 2 week trip to Spain. It was mostly because of our guide, Emilio. He was really knowledgeable about a wide range of topics, allowing him to seamlessly explain what we were seeing. His love of the history, art, architecture of the sites was only surpassed by his knowledge of all aspects of them. We would highly recommend the tour with Emilio.

Great way to see the city

The trip was amazing. As there was 5 adults in our group we had two Tuk tuk’s both our drivers were really informative giving us lots of facts about the places we were seeing. It is a great way to get around the city you can get down lots of streets that larger vehicles can’t do. We would certainly recommend this company.

Edu was a wonderful guide: very knowledgeable with a gentle demeanor. We got to experience a lot of Barcelona in one day. My only suggestion would be to allow more than 50 min in Park Guell, especially since the guide was not allowed to enter with us and we were on our own to navigate the park and be out in time.

Enjoyed a packed, but...

Enjoyed a packed, but fun, day! Montserrat was beautiful! I could have easily spent more time there, looking around. We were there two hours, at most. If I had known in advance, I would have also gone online to purchase the additional ticket that allows you to see/ touch the Black Madonna. The timing ended up working out, as our tour left right as it began raining. Enjoyed a tasty meal and wine tasting at Oller Del Mas afterwards. Thais was our guide and absolutely wonderful! She is very knowledgeable, friendly, personable, funny, and just an overall interesting person. Having her as our guide really added to the experience.

Brief, but worthwhile…

The guided tour focuses the first half on the outside of the Sagrada Familia. The second half (about 30 minutes) is on the inside. Our guide- Oliver- did a great job explaining the history, the construction status, as well as the meaning of the various ornamentation on/in the buildling. After the guided portion of our tour we were offered the opportunity to go back inside the sanctuary, which I would highly recommend, especially on a sunny day. Reserve this tour well in advance of your visit to Barcelona. The Sagrada Familia is a must see for the faithful, as well as architecture fans.

This was an excellent tour. Rocco was great. We examined the Gothic and Born quarters, Montjuic, Park Guell and Sagrada Famiiia It was a great experience. One thing to note that I hadn't noticed, was that our final stop was Sagrada Familia, and you're your own to find your way home.
