Make sure the weather is...
Make sure the weather is fine. It's a bumpy ride but absolutely gorgeous no matter what. Enjoy with your family or friends. The beaches are excellent,& the homes are unbelievable. And best of all of course the horses . Highly recommend the experience. Love it.

Must do!
Was a great experience and definitely a must do while in Kitty Hawk! The guides worked very well together, communicated very well and seemed to genuinely care about us having the best experience possible and our safety. Listen to all the advice- sunscreen, water are a must. Also, you need to be able to walk in sand a decent distance, and uphill after each flight. Wind conditions weren't the best on our day, but they offered several different options such as rescheduling or reducing to 3 vs 5 flights (with a partial refund which came surprisingly very quick!). Overall great company would definitely do this experience.

Exciting experience!
Super friendly staff and great experience! The address given is admin/office where they'll ensure Disclaimers are signed and issue 'boarding pass' but the actual boat dock is a separate location. Boat loading is at - 1100 N Bay Club Dr, Manteo, NC 27954 It's ~10 min drive from office location. So plan accordingly and be at office location 40-45 minutes before scheduled time - specifically on crowded/heavy-traffic summer weekends.

An Insider's Tour of Manteo
Chief provided an excellent and entertaining tour of downtown Manteo. As a historian, I especially appreciated the local perspective he offered on the Lost Colony. We also attended the tour provided by the National Park Service, which I highly recommend as well, since the two together offer a fuller and more nuanced understanding of what may have happened to the first English colony in America. Equally fascinating was Chief’s discussion of the many “firsts” associated with Manteo, along with stories about some of its famous residents and visitors—many of whom he personally knew or met. This is truly an insider’s tour of Manteo.
