Day well spent, heart content

We had such a wonderful time exploring the Great Ocean Road. Our tour guide; Steve was very sweet, friendly, funny and knowledgeable. He drove us to a few lookout stops and other hidden gems in the area before we finally reached the twelve apostles. We love his good vibe and jokes. We also took a lot of pics and very happy with the bus cleanliness and the tour itinerary. Thank you so much Steve. We had a great time today.

A long day but it’s well...

A long day but it’s well worth it. The tour did as described and we got see both the beauty of shore along Great Ocean Road and wild animals. Spotting for wild koalas was a great highlight of the tour along a glimpse of a kangaroo. Our driver was so helpful and funny at times. The stopover at a chocolate factory was a plus and you need try their ice cream - avoid buying 2 scoops, 1 scoop is more than plenty for their serving. Highly recommended!

Be patient! You’ll see plenty of tiny penguins walking the Penguin Highway .

It was a full day of activities. Just remember to dress appropriately for the high winds and cold breezes when visiting the Nobbies and waiting for the Penguin Parade. At Moonlight Sanctuary you’ll get the best opportunity to see the koalas, kangaroos, dingos, and Tasmanian devils up close. There was even a rare albino kangaroo. The views are spectacular in the Nobbies area.

Reverse tour is a great idea if you want to avoid the crowds in the key attractions. Our guide was great, knowledgeable and very engaging. For the 11.5 hours we had, he managed to pack a lot of interesting things to see…..managed to even spot koalas and see kangaroos.

Don’t hesitate. Do this tour!

Nathan provided us with a fun tour! The first winery was absolutely gorgeous. The wines weren’t our favorite, but we enjoyed it. The second winery was busy with minimal explanation of the wines. Would have liked more discussion. The third winery, Soumah, was our favorite! They had some interesting wines with thorough conversations about the wine being offered. Nathan , our driver and guide, was very friendly and knowledgeable. He really helped us enjoy the bus ride back to Melbourne with fun music we all enjoyed!

A Fantastic Day of Steam Trains, Wildlife and Penguins

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Really enjoyed this day trip! Everything went smoothly and the whole itinerary was well organized. Our driver/guide was very responsible and friendly, and he gave us a lot of interesting information about the local culture, history, and architecture along the way. What I especially liked was that the tour wasn’t just about rushing from one attraction to another. We had several stops to enjoy the scenery and see some local wildlife, including geese, kangaroos, and other animals. We also had enough free time at each stop to explore and take photos, which made the day feel much more relaxed. Riding the Puffing Billy steam train through the forest was definitely one of my favorite parts of the trip. But the Penguin Parade was probably the most memorable. Watching the little penguins come out of the ocean and gradually gather together before making their way back to their burrows was such a special experience. Overall, it was a really enjoyable and memorable day. Great scenery, wildlife, and a very well-organized tour. Definitely recommend it!

Great experience!

It was a great experience for us (travelling with a 2.5 year old)! We got to see all the amazing animals (including the bird show) at the sanctuary, and our driver was really helpful and kind and made sure we all got on the Puffing Billy in great spirits :) the train ride itself was great too and we really enjoyed the views before boarding the bus again and going back to Melbourne.

Our driver Pete was amazing! Such a good attitude and really informative. The journey itself to the train is a short 1 hour journey, the train itself is absolutely breathtaking managed to take some amazing pictures and Pete followed us on the journey on road and took videos of the train and our coach onboard the train and then was able to send them to us after the journey, such a cool addition!

What a fantastic day! Our guide Kevin helped us feel welcome from the first hello, gave excellent narrative, brought all of us 'bus people' together despite any language barriers. He truly loves Melbourne and wanted us to appreciate the city and environs through his eyes. The music playlist an entertaining touch... I enjoyed his playful yet passionate approach to his work, clearly his calling, and his expertise throughout the day as we anticipated the penguin experience. The crowds there were less daunting thanks to Kevin's skillful navigation and artistic white board visuals! This was a day and night to remember, made even more memorable thanks to Kevin’s first-rate guiding and of course innate GENIUS!!
