This was a great tour....

This was a great tour. Our driver Dave was funny, informative and made this tour enjoyable. Takes an hour to get up the mountain. You have 30 mins up there and the view is spectacular. We were lucky enough to have a clear view of Hobart and then the snow clouds came over and it bucketed with snow. Such a cool experience. It’s a must do when in Hobart.

Fun, Exciting, Educational

A fun, exciting and educational day. They go out of the way for their customers. Our guide and bus driver, Zoe did a great job. She was enthusiastic, attentive to our needs, informative, and funny. She stopped to show us special things like white wallabies by the side of the road and told us stories and history of the region. On the boat, Captain Mick had great jokes, knew his stuff and, with Zoe's help did a terrific job navigating us through the turbulent waters, giving us an exciting and beautiful 3-hour tour. Lunch was delicious fish and chips. Many thanks to Zoe, Mick and the rest of the team for a great time!

Wear good hiking shoes, dress in layers, be prepared for bitterly cold temps at Mt Wellington.

WEAR waterproof hiking shoes, take trekking poles only IF you need them, wear layers and always be prepared for near freezing temperatures at the top of Mt Wellington. I normally need trekking poles for stairs and steep declines, but it was not a problem on this short 40 minute trek through the Tall Trees in Mt Field National Park. There are a few hundred stairs coming down from the rainforest. You will hike through wet, slippery, muddy, BEAUTIFUL cool rainforest past waterfalls. You will see fabulous kangaroos and wombats and Tasmanian devils and other endemic wildlife at Bonorong, and amazing vistas from the bitterly COLD, WINDY top of Mt Wellington, as well as other pleasant stops along the way like historic Richmond with its cute bakeries, pies, and ice cream shops. Ask for tour guide Gary! Great guide and bus driver. He was funny and informative and very skilled as a driver. It was a WARM spring day, and I felt silly all day for bringing a backpack with an extra hat, gloves, and coat…until we stopped at the top of Mt Wellington! Then I was so grateful that I had my down coat, Tibetan wool hat, and gloves! Other reviewers said to bring a snack since we don’t eat till afternoon… I guess if you are a hobbit or have small children, go ahead. I did not find it necessary. You might want to bring a refillable water bottle, but there is a 90 minute lunch stop in the afternoon in Richmond with many little eateries to choose from. A great way to see a lot of the highlights of the region in a single day!

Great value and such a wonderful experience! 🥰 We honestly couldn’t fault a thing and enjoyed our experience so much! Just wanted to give a special thank you to the staff as well. We were actually running about 5 minutes late due to unexpected road closure, but the staff were so helpful. They called to check on us and, when we arrived at the office, checked us in really quickly, which saved us so much time with all the admin. Really appreciated their kindness and understanding! ❤️

Bountiful Bruny.

This Bruny Island tour was ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS!!!!! All other tour groups we saw on the day got off their bus and walked in unguided and were left to themselves. Our tour guide took us in and introduced the staff and we got private tastings and experiences. We ate delicious local oysters and cheeses on the beach, climbed the lighthouse, had lunch at the pub, then it was off for chocolate and fudge tastings and then more cheese. Having a guide who has lived on the island for forty years meant we got to see and learn about things that other tours drove straight past. It couldn't have been a better day!

Fun on Bruny!

Dave was an excellent guide whom made the trip funny and informative. We got to see most of the island and all the cool little stores! My wife and I had an amazing time and we recommend this trip to everyone! Great food Dave and the team. We enjoyed everything but the three standouts were the cheese tasting, lunch and The Neck lockout. But we very munched enjoyed Dave’s commentary and the garden tour with chocolate tasting. Fantastic Day in Hobart

Paul was a fantastic guide with a great sense of the best order to do things in so that we could take advantage of changing weather conditions. I'd gladly go on a different tour with Paul, but this one was so good that I'd do it again tomorrow is I was still in town. Paul and this tour were that good!
