She was knowledgeable, friendly, and did a great job explaining everything we saw while educating us about the history and culture along the way. Truly 5 Stars!!!

Such an enjoyable experience! Fatima and Batalha was amazing, Nazare was so beautiful!!! Obidos was like stepping into another world. Our guide, Pedro Carvalho, was exceptional. He truly went out of his way to accommodate us and made sure we enjoyed every minute of the trip, even during the drive. He agreed to extend our time in Fatima to see all the sites. he gave us suggestions where to eat in Nazare. He helped the other couple in our tour that had a baby in a stroller navigate the stairs and limestone streets. We never had a tour guide like that! If you are booking this trip with Odyssey Tours, ask for Pedro Carvalho as your driver.

Best day trip I've ever had, thanks to Andre

Our day in Sintra with Andre of Portuguese for a Day Tours was the most amazing day trip I have ever had, and it was all about the guide. Andre is knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly cares about his business. He made the whole day very easy. He knows absolutely everyone at the castles, from the groundskeepers to security, and he knows the history of every part of them. He also knows exactly where to eat. On top of that, he speaks four languages and is an accomplished musician. The castles are absolutely gorgeous. One thing to know before you go: there is a lot of walking on hills, stairs, and steep cobblestone paths. If you're looking for a Sintra tour, I highly, highly recommend booking with Andre.

Perfect Tour

Amazing tour !! Filipa was one of the BEST tour guides we have EVER had! The sites we saw were breathtaking plus Filipa took us to a fabulous restaurant for lunch which overlooked the ocean with fresh seafood entrees and introduced us to Travesseiro - a mouth watering dessert in Sintra. Her knowledge of the history was outstanding. A perfect day excursion with Filipa.

Sintra and Regaleria tour from Lisbon

We were picked up at our Hotel in a very nice and clean van. Our tour guide Pedro introduced himself and we immediately knew it was going to be a good day! He is a very good driver and we felt at ease the whole time. Pedro is also a wealth of knowledge about the area. We visited Sintra, which is where he is from. We had time to explore the area on our own and then he met up with us to walk to the Regaleria while he taught us about the property and about Sintra. We bought tickets to the Regaleria online before the trip. I had a hard time downloading them so a screenshot was sufficient for entrance. I would recommend printing the tickets as well before the trip. The Regaleria is amazing. There is so much to take in and we felt we had plenty of time to learn and explore. After the Regaleria we had a nice lunch in Cascais then explored Cascais a bit before heading back to our hotel in Lisbon. The whole tour was 9 hours. Driving to Sintra took about 40 minutes one way. On the way back there was a little more traffic in Lisbon which is to be expected. It was a great day and well worth the price of the tour! It was a stress free and enjoyable day and we would highly recommend our tour guide Pedro! He speaks English fluently and I heard him speak Spanish as well. He might even speak other languages!

Great Tour, Secret Shortcuts

Jose, our tour guide, did an incredible job bringing Lisbon to life. Despite the limited 3-hour tour, he skillfully covered Portugal’s intricate history through captivating and humorous stories that deepened my appreciation for the city. The stories about the devastating Lisbon earthquake and the remarkable city’s subsequent rebuilding were particularly poignant. Jose also provided valuable recommendations for off-the-beaten-path places to visit and shared some hidden shortcuts (escalators and elevators) to navigate the city’s hilly terrain. These tips were incredibly helpful, especially after the tour. While the tour cost around 1-2 euros on Viator, I highly recommend tipping Jose at least 30-40 euros at the end of the tour to show your appreciation for his expertise and dedication.

Pleasant tour if you wanna see all in one day

It was great to see all those places in once. Unfortunately that also made it impossible to spend enough time on each. Besides the fact that our driver/guide Orlando was great, it gave me the feeling to be rushed all along the way. The lunch in Nazaré was just ok, service very slow as we went to the place recommended because we didn’t even had time to explore our options. The van was very nice and clean and Orlando was a great driver. I don’t wanna give less than 5 stars as he gave his best for the tour.

Very nice tour.

The tour was a quick snapshot of some of the most important monuments and landmarks around Lisbon. Tomas was an incredibly knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide. He juggled between Portuguese and English which would be very difficult. My kid loved his energy and enthusiasm. Get your cameras out for the transition into the water. Would have liked a bit more warning so we could get it in film.

Sintra and Pinna Palace tour

Interesting experience. The palace is fantastic. The view of the farest west point of Eurobean land is awsome. The tour guide explains every thing in English then in french because we had half of the team from Australia and half from the french Canada. Since I speak both english and French, I heared eveything twice. Interesting!
