Enjoyable small Golden Circle tour
Our guide and driver, Maria, was great. Her historic info along with site-specific info was well presented. Her English was spot on and her voice and twist of wording was so pleasant. She was punctual along with our other travelers keeping to the timelines.

Beautiful day in the Snaefellsnes Peninsula
Ottar was our tour guide for the day who shared his love of icelandic music and history on the drive and got us to the many stops safely. He also ensured our safety at the stops as many were slippery due to constant rain. All the stops were amazingly beautiful and so glad we took this tour.
This is an all day 11+ hour tour with a good amount of walking and on/off bus. If you dont have good mobility, this tour is not for you.
There is also time to stop for lunch, if you dont bring your own or grab something at the gas station stop.

Northern Lights !!!
The pickup point was easy to find and only 5 min walk from my hotel . The tour guide was punctual . The mini coach bus was comfortable. There is a bathroom stop in the beginning- use it because that’s the only time you will be able to. They provide wool blankets which are so cozy. They also give you hot chocolate with a pastry which was delicious . The guide kept us informed at all times . He was honest from the start saying it’s not a guarantee to find the lights but we’re gonna try our best and have fun while searching. Seeing the stars was amazing. We finally got a glimpse of the northern lights it was faint but it was still there and that was enough for me . The guide took our professional photos with the lights and the photos came out amazing . We posed for many pictures. I received the photos in less than 2 days which was great. It was truly a magical experience . Book it !

Ask for David as your best tour guide ever
If you are considering this tour, book it—and hope you get David as your guide. He was outstanding: friendly, professional, engaging, and incredibly knowledgeable about Icelandic geology, history, and everyday life.
As someone traveling with a mobility scooter, I was especially grateful for David’s help at every stop. He carefully and cheerfully assisted with getting the scooter in and out of the van, making the entire tour feel accessible, smooth, and welcoming. His support was never made to feel like an inconvenience—it was simply part of the outstanding service and genuine care he showed all of us.
David turned a beautiful sightseeing day into a memorable experience. He kept the journey entertaining between stops, explained the significance of each location in a clear and interesting way, and made sure the group was comfortable and well looked after. The Tomato Farm was a special highlight, while Kerið’s vivid crater lake was spectacular. We left with amazing photos, great memories, and a much deeper appreciation for Iceland. Five stars without hesitation. And I could not recommend David more!

Great experience
This tour hit some of the previous spots we saw on a south coast tour we did the day before, but with the weather changes the landscape looked different. The glacier on this tour wasn’t as stunning as Vatnajokull, but it was still nice to see. The black beach was incredible but a little scary as people did not head the warnings and got close to the sneaker waves. Several people got yelled at. Overall, it was a great experience.

Small group tour is a must
Michael was determined to find us the best spot for viewing the Northern Lights. Because we were in a van (vs a large bus), he could take us on smaller roads with less traffic and light pollution. We were lucky and saw the full display of lights. There were winds of 50 mph so dress warmly and bring a tripod because you need to keep your camera still to take the best pictures.

Perfect sightseeings & relaxing tour!
Our tour guide Darren was fabulous and absolutely an informative guy! You learn a tons of valuable information about Iceland from him! I never listened to any tour guys on the bus but Darren was the first guy I was still listening even when I was napping! All the sightseeings were right on scheduled if you returning to bus on time. Secret Lagoon is a plus and relaxing especially we had glacier hike on a previous day!

Perfect day at The Blue Lagoon
Our trip included transportation from the cruise ship terminal in Reykjavik to and from The Blue Lagoon. We had no issues and enjoyed our time in the Lagoon. We went early (left Reykjavik at 9:00 and was at the Blue Lagoon before 10:00). I would highly suggest that as it got more and more crowded. We were able to do the face masks and get our drinks before the long lines and crowds, so go early! The facilities at the Blue Lagoon are really nice. They provide everything you need, including bathing suit dryers so you aren’t schlepping soaking suits back. Great experience.

Rakel is amazing!!
Rakel was our tour guide. She was so very nice, she gave us so much information about the Icelandic culture and about the island itself. They communicated well when it came to finding them at the port. So it worked so very well with being an excursion I booked on a limited time frame. But again, 10/10 would recommend. Rakel was amazing!!

We had a wonderful experience today on the Golden Circle tour in Iceland. Our tour guide, Darren, was so very interesting and did everything to make our day one of the best tours we have been on. We enjoyed every moment of his commentary, his knowledge and stories which entertained us throughout the day.It was a long, exciting day and every stop we made was better than the last. Cannot say enough positive words about our experience! Thank you, Darren!

The tour was great!!! The...
The tour was great!!! The guide was very informative, helpful, and was just as excited to see the whales and puffins as we were. It was kind of like going fishing. You are just waiting for the sea animals to do their thing and they didn’t disappoint. The puffins were the cutest.
