Freddy our tour guide was kind and great on checking uo on everyone. the tour was fantastic easily one of my highlights of peru. we got picked up and communication was clear before the tour start. the breakfast and lunch place the choices were fantastic! the motorcycle is optional, but to be honest with that altitude just pay for it. there was no pressure to do the optional transportation, the van is a bit small but has space to store your items above. the driver was knowledgable and quick. overall this tour was fantastic!

Amazing!!

So worth the early start! The scenery is so incredible its one of the most amazing things I have seen. And our guide Tito was awesome he brought all the right energy, made sure everyone was ok and let everyone go at their own pace. The breakfast and lunch are buffets so you can take as much as you need to keep you filled. The hike is quite hard especially if you also want to do the red valley bit (which you definitely should!) so make sure you are fit and healthy and have had a good nights sleep. Only downside was a lot of people suffered from the altitude sickness so the bus ride back was a bit miserable.

Learned so much in a short period of time.

We took this tour out of Cusco with our super guide Tito ( aka David) and his super driver and he also referred to us as the super group. You can tell he was entertaining and energetic! We saw several ruins listed in the tour as well as some Llama and Alpacas. Yes there was a shop that that followed. It was very useful information presented about the quality of wool items and the way some products were not pure alpaca. It used the tips in every shop. We bought a few items . The tour then returned you to the starting point. Tito did a fabulous job looking out for everyone and pacing the morning. Bring your own snack if you need to eat and they provide free water bottles.

What a great day! John,...

What a great day! John, Alex, and Christian were fantastic and led a great experience for all of us. It was nice to leave later in the morning because it wasn’t as crowded as it states in the description. John was our guide was always checking on us to make sure we were okay getting up the mountain! He made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. He gave us some cool fun facts about the mountains on the way up too. The lunch at the end of the hike was also great. Nothing but good things to say about our experience. Thank you again!

Worth every cent

Its a very long day, take sunscreen (we got badly burnt and had.it on), and its incredibly physical, our guide Francisco was incredible, my husband has mobility issues and Francisco was patient and helpful, his knowledge made the tour exceptional and he could move people on when we needed a photo!! All up and exceptional experience, thankyou to Francisco also, only downside was our train home derailed, but that's another review

Do this tour!

This was a perfect day! It was very well organized and was on time. The car driver took us to the train station and ensured we got on the right train. When we got off the train, a guide was waiting for us to assist us to the bus. Samuel, our guide at Machu Picchu was amazing! He was very knowledgeable and even with the rain, he patiently answered questions and offered wonderful details. He guided us back to the bus, and when we got off the bus, a guide took us to the train station. When we got off the train, a driver was waiting to take us back to Cusco. I was very impressed with the professionalism. We had time to eat breakfast before the bus took us to MP, then we had time for lunch before the return trip.

This was such a great...

This was such a great experience. All of the transportation steps were easy to follow. I’m seriously terrible with directions, so I was a little nervous when I read some of the other reviews from people saying they were confused about where to get the train, bus, etc. If you pay attention to the signs and instructions given to you by the staff, it doesn’t seem possible to get lost. The panoramic train was a lot of fun. You get a little snack and a drink, like what you’d get on an airplane. In the open viewing carriage, there are 2 guys playing live music and everyone was dancing. I was dying when they started playing the Macarena lol. The tour guide I had for Machu Picchu was Antony and he was amazing. There were only 3 people in our whole group. I was traveling solo and then there was another couple. He took tons of pictures and there were times when it felt like he was doing a full on photoshoot with everyone. I’m not in shape at all and I wasn’t really prepared for all of the steep steps, but Antony was so nice and patient and made sure I could get up and down safely. I did Circuit 3B, which I think is supposed to be the easiest route, but FYI “easiest” doesn’t mean “easy.” There are a lot of big rock steps to climb up and down without handrails. Going up the steps is physically difficult if you’re out of shape like me, but it’s worth it. Going down the steps is harder because it’s more mentally difficult and scary, but Antony walked with me and made sure I didn’t fall and crack my head open. The weather was a little rainy and the views weren’t ideal since it was foggy, but I actually thought the fog made it look cooler. The tour itself started around 10am and ended around 12pm. My return train ticket was for 4pm, so I had a lot of time to kill in Aguas Calientes where there’s not a ton to do. So just be prepared to have a few boring hours at the end. Overall it was an awesome experience and I’m so glad I didn’t have to figure out the transportation logistics on my own!

Easy, low stress- ideal way to do a tour!

No stress planning to see Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu. Everything was set up, after I booked tour they let me know which course was available for Machu Picchu and purchased my tickets. They were right on time to pick us up from hotel (they’re communicated with us prior as to what time they were going to get us from hotel). From that moment we received our tickets for the Machu Picchu bus, train, circuit, accommodation booking and way back. Sacred valley tour was nice and very informative, from the lady’s making things out of Alpaca, the salt mines, Morey, and lunch was an amazing buffet with so many options. Once we got down to Agua Caliente, a man was waiting for us right off the train with her name on it so we knew where to go for our hotel. From that point we had the rest of the evening on our own. The next morning we met our guide for Machu Picchu where he was with us to guide us on the bus and we started our tour there. He took so many pictures. It was such an amazing experience. Even though we only had circuit one it was a phenomenal view!! and then it was time to come back we got on a train and honestly, it was all seamless. I would definitely recommend this for a tour as it took away the stress of planning all of it on my own.
