This was a great way to experience an Argentine tradition! The transfer was great, just be prepared for the traffic at this time of day (or honestly any time of day in BA). The food was good but the best part was obviously the show! It was very entertaining and the performers were definitely talented. Great experience even as a solo!

I loved learning how to cook Argentinean staples (empanadas and chipas). The staff was so friendly and made the process seamless. I was a solo traveler from the US and felt very welcome. Recommend for anyone who likes to learn uncomplicated recipes from where they are traveling.

Charming day in the countryside

This is a super enjoyable day in the countryside! Emilia was a wonderful guide and very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Las Dueñas ranch was so peaceful. They provided super tasty vegan alternatives for me and vegetarian alternatives for two other women in our group. The wine was delicious, dancing was fun, and horseback riding/whisper was great. My boys also enjoyed playing with the dogs. Finally, be sure to get an alfajor from the chocolate shop in San Antonio de Areco. It won an award for best alfajor in the world! This is a great tour and gives you a wonderful feel for the gaucho culture of Argentina.

Maya was our fabulous guide - ended up being total of 12 of us in the group. We had four stops plus a bonus pre-dessert stop. We arrived in Buenos Aires last night and we loved this introduction to some of the wonderful tastes of this beautiful city. Hubby said empanada was best he’d ever had. My favorites were the fainá and the fried cheese - first time having those and hopefully will get more during our time in BA. Thank you Maya and Sherpa tours for great start on our first full day in BA!

Must See!

I loved visiting the falls! Wear comfortable shoes. There is a lot of walking to get the best views. Please read the information before booking for who can/cannot take the boat ride. People with medical issues, hearing aids, etc. Very important!! I would recommend with medical clearance. I'm 72 years old. The ride through the tropical forest was great! I saw monkeys , and we were on the look-out for toucans. There are steep steps to and from the boat ride. I had a great experience! My tour guide was so knowledgeable! Once in a lifetime experience. The falls is a must see!!

Nice Day Trip - Scenic and Low Stress

Nice boat tour of the Tigre Delta. The area reminded me a bit like Florida around the Crystal River springs. Ride to the Delta can be a bit bouncy. We went on a rainy day, but stayed dry inside the boat. It would have been nicer to be up topside however. The port town of Tigre was also nice and low stress compared with the bustle of Buenos Aires. The food was great; we ate inside a building run by the local Italian rowing club.

My wife and I had an amazing Gaucho experience at El Ombú de Areco! The tour was perfectly organized and gave us a wonderful taste of Argentine countryside culture. From the relaxing horse riding to the lively traditional dancing and the delicious asado, every part of the day was memorable. Excellent experience. Pick up was right on time. Very good driver and clean bus. Show check in was easy and smooth. Wine tasting was really good. Dinner was very good and the highlight of the night was the Tango Show, which was more than a tango show. Excellent. We would absolutely recommend this show Or go a second time. Incredible talent, amazing choreography, very intimate/ romantic setting, classy, felt like we had gone back in time to a tango speak-easy. We absolutely loved our experience there. We only wished there had been a did couple or style of tango performed as well. Totally worth it though as is.
