They will pick you up at your accommodation point and during the driving time to the centre will provide history and interesting facts about Lima.

Huacachina is the best

This tour was absolutely amazing. Pablo, our tour guide, was great and explained everything very well. The first stop, where we got to go on a boat and see wildlife was great. Our group got very lucky and got to see a humpback whale and her baby up close. The lunch and pisco tasting was also very nice. The final stop at huacachina was definitely the best and something I will never forget. The ride in the dune buggy is exhilarating and the sand boarding was so much fun. It is a very long experience but 100% worth it.

Money well spent

I travel quite a bit and I have to say Jesus was honestly one of the best tour guides I’ve ever had. His energy was infectious, he kept our spirits up from 5am to midnight and had us laughing throughout the tour. He was very knowledgeable and kept us well informed about our multiple stops and activities. He had a solution for basically every slight problem we could have and ensured the entire trip was seamless. He also is the best hype man and supporter when taking pictures lol. I would definitely recommend this tour company and if possible ask to have Jesus as your guide! All the other helpers we met along the tour were also very friendly and tried their best to make sure we were all having the best experience we could. I especially want to shout out our dune buggy driver for going above and beyond for our group. Thank you all so much you made this one of the best days of my trip in Peru (and I think my life)!!!

Funnest tourist group!

This experience is so fun and the host is great. I didn’t feel rushed at all like other excursion groups. Everybody was friendly and we felt like one big family at the end. They are also very safe, I didn’t want to wear a helmet for the dune buggies but I understood it lol. They also accommodated my pick up as my hotel was not listed (Ibis Budget Inn) but was still in Miraflores. I would def pick them again!

The Perfect Way to Experience Lima!

This tour was one of the highlights of my time in Lima! It was a small group of just four people - myself, another solo traveler, and a couple - which made the experience feel personal and relaxed. The itinerary was fantastic. We saw so much of Lima in one day, from the historic center and its fascinating history to the different neighborhoods, markets, and cultural highlights. Everything was thoughtfully organized, and the day had a great balance of sightseeing, history, culture, and food without feeling rushed. The food was another highlight. Everything we tried was delicious, and I loved that the tour incorporated local flavors and gave us the opportunity to experience Lima through its food as well. Our driver, Eduardo, was wonderful. The van was clean and comfortable, and Eduardo was professional, friendly, and an excellent driver. Having reliable transportation throughout the day made the experience so easy and enjoyable. But the absolute star of the tour was our guide, Claudia. She was truly exceptional. Claudia was knowledgeable, warm, engaging, and clearly passionate about Lima and its history. Her storytelling brought the places we visited to life, and she had a wonderful way of making everyone feel included and comfortable. She went above and beyond to make sure we were enjoying ourselves and getting the most out of the day. Claudia and Eduardo made an already excellent itinerary into a truly memorable experience. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Lima - and if you’re lucky enough to have Claudia as your guide, you’re in for a treat! Five stars all around!

Our experience on the Viator Ultimate Lima Food Tour in Barranco was easily one of the highlights of our trip to Peru! Our guide, Valeria, was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating throughout the entire tour. Her deep understanding of Peruvian food history and local culture made every single stop meaningful and fun. The food line-up was fantastic from start to finish: Fresh Ceviche & Lomo Saltado: The ceviche demonstration was completely unique and engaging, giving us a firsthand look at how Peru's iconic dish is prepared. The lomo saltado was absolutely delicious, cooked to perfection with rich, authentic flavors. Fruit & Chocolate Tasting: Sampling the wide variety of exotic native fruits and rich Peruvian chocolates was a wonderful sensory experience that highlighted the country's incredible biodiversity. Pisco at Bar Juanito: Stopping at the historic Bar Juanito to taste authentic Pisco was the perfect way to soak in the bohemian atmosphere of Barranco. Valeria went above and beyond to make sure everyone in our group was comfortable, engaged, and well-fed. If you are visiting Lima, this tour is an absolute must-do—make sure to ask for Valeria!

Great download on Lima!

Great way to learn about the history of Lima. Our guide, Ariana was very knowledgeable about the various eras of Peru civilization and even provided restaurant recommendations after the tour. The catacombs were really interesting to see too. My only suggestion would be is to improve the air conditioning in the van as it was really hot in the vehicle even with the AC on.

Long drive but TOTALLY worth it!

The tour was great! Alvaro and Felix were great guides that were also very attentive to us throughout the trip. The hotel pick up and drop off were easy. The trip to Huacachina wasn’t bad since we had a couple of stops along the way. Huacachina and activities were AMAZING! We had so much fun on the buggies and sandboarding with Jhonny. The trip back is a bit long, but worth the trip. I previously read a review that was helpful to me prior to the trip: Stop 1 - Breakfast (not incl.) Stop 2 - Paracas around 9am for boat ride around Ballestos Island (90 mins) + walking around Paracas until around 11am Stop 3 - Ica at El Huarango around 12:30pm for Piscos + wine (incl.) + lunch (not incl.; about $20 a person, 65/s) Stop 4 - Huacachina around 3pm + sand buggies + sandboarding Around 4:30pm, long ride back to Lima (about 5 hours) - one stop at gas station around 7:30pm for snacks/bathroom Drop-Off around 9:45pm-10pm Highly recommend booking this tour! We had a blast and can’t stop talking about it. I’d only recommend the company to keep the A/C on because we got a little warm for such a long trip. But once again, our guides were great!
