What an experience!

What an experience! There's nothing like spending a few hours on the water in a boat, but when it's on the Adriatic it takes it to a whole new level. Nico, our captain, shared stories that the locals have told for generations as well as the history of the numerous caves along the coast. He also provided us with the choice of prosecco, soda, treats, and his specialty, homemade tiramisu. The water is crystal clear and we were given at least 30 minutes to swim near one of the many large caves. Nico's personal touch throughout the adventure and the amount of time spent swimming definitely gives this experience better than a 10/10 rating.

Great fun!

The speedboat trip was great fun. We did the last one of the day, 18.30, and it was a lovely temperature. The sea was warm when we stopped to swim in it, just beneath the famous cave restaurant. The guide told us about the caves and history. We had a few glasses of Prosecco and some tarali.

We went on the full day...

We went on the full day tour of Alberobello and Matera including an olive oil tasting. Our bus had air conditioning and was comfortable. We opted for the tour guide option in both cities. Our guide in Alberobello was Michela and she was lovely and knowledgeable. We really enjoyed visiting and learning about Alberobello with her. In Matera, our guide was Pasquale. He gave us so much information and history about the city. We had a wonderful tour with him. At the end of the tour, there is an option to either walk down to the main piazza or to take a bus for 1.50 Euro. We were all very happy to take the bus. Both guides are local to their city and we met them there. They didn’t travel with us from Bari. We would recommend this tour to anyone who would like to visit both cities and would rather not drive themselves.

A must do experience in Polignano a Mare!

Fun boat tour along the coast. Amazing views. A stop for a swim and a nice glass of fizz was a bonus! Only around 10 passengers so fairly "private". We did it at 4pm on 22nd June, so just about missed the worst heat of the day. One thing to note. The pier where the boats leave from is a good 25 minute walk from the train station, and no footpath for some of it. At our request, the organisers booked us a taxi for our return to Polignano town afterwards, which was a much better option.

Our orecchiette cooking class with Annamaria was one of the absolute highlights of our trip to Puglia! From the moment we arrived, she made us feel like family. Annamaria is an incredible teacher—so engaging, patient, and passionate. She shared wonderful stories about Puglia, its traditions, and the history behind the region’s famous orecchiette while teaching us the authentic technique step by step. By the end of the class, we were actually making our own pasta with confidence! The food was absolutely delicious, and sharing the meal together afterward made the experience even more special. The company, conversation, and warm hospitality made us feel like we were guests in a friend’s home rather than taking a cooking class. I took the class with my mom and my sister, and it’s a memory we’ll treasure forever. If you’re visiting Polignano a Mare and want an authentic Puglian experience, don’t miss this class. Great tour!

This was a great tour! You travel along the coast looking at the caves, seeing Lama Monachile beach from the sea and exploring the coastline and the buildings on the cliff. We then got a chance to swim and a glass of Prosecco and some trialling snacks to try! Our captain was very informative and was happy to answer any questions the group had. It was also very reasonably priced in comparison to a lot of other tours! I definitely recommend this tour if you are looking to do a boat trip to the caves of Polignano!

We had a wonderful day exploring Ostuni and Alberobello with Gabry. From the beginning, Gabry tailored the tour to our interests, creating a truly personalised experience that went far beyond the typical tourist itinerary. One of the highlights was enjoying an authentic seafood lunch at a seaside restaurant frequented mostly by locals—something we would never have discovered on our own. Gabry also gave us a rare opportunity to visit a friend’s Trullo home that has been preserved in its original state. It was fascinating to see such an authentic piece of Puglian history and provided a unique insight into traditional life in the region. Perfect way to get to see three diverse cities without the commitment of staying over night.

This was a great pasta...

This was a great pasta making experience. Silvia and Mariela were our tour guides and hosts and we had a great time. They taught us how it make tasty focaccia and orchiette and let us eat some of the creations. They were so nice to speak a little Italian with us and help us learn.

Nice paced visit to interesting cities from Bari

Booking this tour was the best decision we made. My husband, daughter, and I had a fantastic day in Matera and Alberobello. The driver and guide, Andreas and Piero, were both friendly and welcoming. He shared so much history and knowledge with us that we would never have known without his tour. He was generous with his time and gave us tips on the places we visited. The van ride was comfortable, air-conditioned, and on time at every stop. It was an excellent tour and well worth the time and money.
