Cristiano was the most professional and knowledgeable guide. After kindly welcoming us with chilled water after every stop, he safely navigated all the sights of Athens. He gave us great tips that enriched our experience of the Acropolis. What a lovely way to spend our short time in Athens after our cruise. 10/10 recommend!

We loved our driver Tomas! He knew just where to drop us off so that we could easily access the acropolis. He brought water and small snacks. I liked that our tour had acropolis tickets included. That way the driver could time everything. And we could skip the ticket line. He also drove us all over showing us many of the sights of Athens. We would highly recommend!

We enjoyed getting picked up at our hotel and Nick was great at telling us all about Athens. Our family would have liked having a guide inside the monuments to learn more. But overall it was a great day and the guide was very informative.

My tour around Athens with Yiannis was superb and a good bang for the buck. This was the right length of 4 hours and I saw most of the wonderful sites in Athens by car. Good for people with mobility issues and do not have a lot of time in Athens. With one tour with not much walking, I saw most of the important must visit sites in Athens. Also the convenience of being picked up and dropped off in front of your hotel was really time saving and easy on the logistics for the visitor. I would recommend this tour for solo travelers and small groups. Give this a 5 star rating!

We loved the private tour experience. We were able to explore on our own time. We were given plenty of time to see everything. Our driver, Nikos, was absolutely wonderful and knowledgeable. He maneuvered the streets and traffic perfectly. What a beautiful day in Athens.

A truly unforgettable day with Erkan our guide. He was so knowledgeable about all thd sites. His organisation of our tour was superb. Istanbul was very busy however he arranged skip the line tickets and the timing was great! We had plenty of time at the Hagia Sophia and Basilica Cisterns which are a must see. Our lunch (not included) at The Pudding restaurant was delicious. The spice market was a wonderful assault on our senses. A fabulous day. Thank you Erkan.

Aside from having heat exhaustion and needing to be seen by the doctor on site, it was amazing. The temp that day was 106.4’F. I made it to the top around 530 pm, but wasn’t sweating. Luckily, the first aid station, cooled me down and got me feeling better. The history on this tour was amazing. I can’t remember my driver’s name, he’s in his 40’s,
Has twin girls, his wife is a nurse and his also does accounting. He was highly trained and skilled to speak of history of the city. It sounded like he had a history degree in ancient Athens. Highly recommend this tour. But I would go to
Greece when it is cooler. They were having unseasonably hot temperatures when we were there. Wear no slick shoes going to the top.

It was a very enjoyable break for me as i'm in Athens for work and some friends and i decided to buy this tour! First i will talk about the organization, as all our questions were answered through messages whenever we wanted to ask something! Since it is very hot in Athens this time of year, our driver was waiting us outside our hotel and offered us cold water and a light snack, with a warm smile to welcome us!
We really enjoyed the tour, the conversation with the driver was pleasant and we learned a lot about everyday life in the country as well as facts from ancient Greece that I personally didn't know. Also, the people with their smiles and kindness make your day even in the traffic of Athens. Mr Xenophon really knew the area and streets to avoid the traffic,so that we have time to see everything!
Regarding the tour i have to say that it is a complete tour if you choose to enter the archeological sites with tickets, but even without tickets you can still see everything and take incredible photos!

Two was right on time to pickup at hotel. But an issue in that his English was not very good. Our main purpose was to go to the acropolis & Parthenon. But we asked to stop at the acropolis
Museum to see if we could get tickets. One traveler was using a walker so could not walk far. Two of us went to see about tickets while the third person waited in the parked vehicle with the driver.
We had a security guard at the museum talk to our driver in Greek to tell him the best place to drop the third person. Then the other two of us went there to meet him so we could proceed to go to the museum. We waited, called and texted the driver and he never came. At one point he did not even answer his phone. We were panicked. Finally he drove by without the third person. He had dropped him off at a corner near by without anyone there to be with the person in the walker. We were all panicked as the person with the walker was not where he was dropped off. We finally found the person and since the driver got a ticket for parking they said our tour was fine and they would take us back to the hotel. We said no we would get a cab to the acropolis as they did give us our tickets for that.
We never did get to the museum as we ran out of time waiting for our driver to show up where the security guard told him to go.
It is a wonder I even gave them 2 stars.
I do plan to seek a partial refund which they did not even offer.

Thank you for your time for the review! Let's start from the beginning. The tour you booked did not include a stop at the Acropolis Museum but at the archaeological site of the Acropolis (Parthenon). You asked to visit the Acropolis Museum and your driver did the favour in order to satisfy you! The Acropolis Museum is located in the Plaka area where there are signs everywhere stating that the area is for pedestrians only and that vehicles are strictly prohibited, however, your driver did the favour and dropped you off outside the Acropolis Museum where parking is prohibited, you asked him to stay there and took care the one of thee travellers who were an elderly man with healthy problems and a walker. The temperature was 38°C (100°F) and the old man asked to get off to get some fresh air and at the same time the police asked the driver to take the car outside the Acropolis Museum as parking is not allowed. The driver took only 1 minute to park the car and returned to the point on foot to take care of the elderly traveller with the walker! However, the old man left the point without any information and without having a mobile phone on him. The driver immediately informed you and the company ( a disturbance was created on your part ) , however, you didn’t mention that the company in less than 3 minutes sent also another driver and a tour guide to help found the old traveller and the elderly guy was immediately found! Then you received your tickets for the Acropolis and while the driver suggested that you continue to the Acropolis, you obviously wanted to stop the tour in order to refund your money, but you got your Acropolis tickets in your hands. You should understand that it is a shame to ask for money back when we paid a heavy fine because the van parked for many minutes outside the museum to favour you and we should say again that the stop at the museum was not even included in the tour, in addition, the police took the driver's license for a month for illegal parking at the museum for your own favour and finally we paid your tickets for the Acropolis. The driver is also accused of losing an elderly guy with obvious health and mobility problems who, as an adult, did not even have a cell phone on him, and you accuse the driver of letting the man down for a minute to get some fresh air that he requested with a temperature of 38°C ( 100°F). The driver has also worked for the company for years and speaks very good English as he has language certification from the University of Michigan and Cambridge. Thank you very much for your review and we hope to enjoy in general your holidays in Greece!!!!

Our driver was really nice and very punctual. He showed up exactly when he said he would. The transportation was very nice to get around in with air conditioning and water. However, it would have been great if he could have spoken more English and been able to tell us more about the Athens area we were seeing while driving. There is no way we could have seen all of the things we did by foot or regular taxi in Athens. There was even a really neat food festival going on that he took us to. A very nice day, highly recommended.

Xenofontos was my very knowledgeable tour guide. He arrived promptly in a well kept, newer mini van, Mercedes, as I recall. I was fortunate to have my own private tour as I was the only person to register for the time slot. He shared the great city of Athens', culture and history, as we drove and stopped at many sites. The highlight of the tour was a self-guided visit to the Acropolis, not to be missed hike to the top, and the Acropolis Museum. I must mention his impeccable driving skills through narrow and unsigned streets along with his ability to find parking spots in a city lacking parking lots or garages for the five million residents.
