We booked this half-day tour of the Giza Pyramids and the Great Sphinx, and it turned out to be the absolute highlight of our trip to Cairo! Every single aspect of the experience was top-notch. First and foremost, our guide Rania was supreme. From the moment we met her, she was lovely, incredibly friendly, and possessed incredible English. Her depth of knowledge about the history and antiquities was massively impressive, bringing every site to life. She was also wonderfully patient, taking her time with us and never making us feel rushed. She is also an amazing photographer! I would specifically request her every single time! Rania also went above and beyond to look out for us. She personally ensured we got the best camels for our ride and expertly navigated us so that we didn't get ripped off at the tourist shops. Logistically, everything was seamless. The transport vehicles were modern, clean, and comfortable, and the drivers were professional and friendly throughout. Muhammad was on time, very knowledgeable and didn’t rush us nor did he try to persuade us to tour longer when we cut the tour short. My wife and I were so jet lagged; we flew in just 3 hrs before the tour so we asked to cut the tour short. We will highly recommend him to friends and family

Great experience

HASSAN was an amazing tour guide. He was extremely informative and knew his history very well. He gave the opportunity to take pictures and videos after he finished explaining everything. And then went out for lunch at a local restaurant, which was really good! Would definitely recommend. The driver Mohammed was also a great addition to the trip.

We had an absolutely fantastic day with Hussam, who took us to visit the Pyramids in the morning and the **Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM)** in the afternoon. Hussam was incredibly knowledgeable, and his storytelling was exceptional. He didn’t just tell us about the history; he brought it to life and made us feel as though we were travelling back in time. His depth of knowledge was unbelievable, and his passion for Egyptian history really shone through. He also knew exactly where to take us for the most amazing photographs, capturing some truly special memories. He was brilliant at using my husband’s mobile phone, making the most of its features to get the perfect shots. We now have some beautiful photos to remember our experience! Hussam was also very thoughtful and made sure we stayed well hydrated throughout the day, which we really appreciated. He even recommended an amazing restaurant for the evening, where we enjoyed a lovely meal while watching the sunset with a full view of the Pyramids. It was the perfect way to end such a memorable day. My husband and I cannot recommend Hussam highly enough. His knowledge, storytelling, thoughtfulness and attention to detail made our experience truly special. If you’re visiting Cairo and the Pyramids, **do ask for Hussam — you won’t be disappointed!**

This was a more expensive...

This was a more expensive but great experience. I was with "King Mina" and he was an excellent tour guide - really knowledgeable and excellent communication. The only real downside of doing a trip like this is that you're with a large group the whole time. Our group was about 35 people so that meant visiting all of the sites together, meaning we had to wait for people, we had limited time at the sites, etc. But the ship, City & Sea Adonis, was very nice - nicer than other ships I saw. Also, expect to pay an additional $100 USD for entry into the sites and tips for the cruise staff.

Highly recommend - amazing day!

We booked this trip last-minute on a whim and weren't sure what to expect. It was amazing! A must-do if you have time. The bent pyramid was a once-in-a-lifetime experience but not for the faint of heart! Ahmed was an excellent guide and the entire day exceeded our expectations! Highly recommend.

Absolutely fantastic day out and worth every minute of the long journey! 🇪🇬✨ Seeing the incredible sights of Cairo was an unforgettable experience, and I’m so glad we made the trip. Our guide, Sam, was absolutely fantastic! He was extremely knowledgeable, passionate about what he does, and shared so much fascinating information throughout the day. His enthusiasm really added to the experience, and I couldn’t recommend him highly enough. Our driver was also very courteous, polite and professional, making the long journey comfortable and enjoyable. The time of year was perfect for visiting. There were still crowds at the main attractions, but I dread to think how busy it must get during peak season! It’s a long day, but absolutely worth it if you’re staying in Sharm el Sheikh and want to experience the incredible history and wonders of Cairo. I’d highly recommend this trip, and if you’re lucky enough to have Sam as your guide, you’re in for a fantastic day! 🇪🇬❤️

Breathtaking tour.

This tour was fantastic, the whole experience allowed for plenty of social interaction, learning and some breathtaking views of the temples and the Nile. The activities were well paced and varied. Our tour guide was Mohamed Gobran who had an unbelievable breadth of knowledge and enthusiasm that brought the whole experience to life.
