Beautiful beach!
Great experience all round. Our bus picked up from our our hotel, our tour guide Jo was very knowledgeable of the history in Crete which was very interesting as we drove through the villages and mountains. We stopped at a cave called Agia Sofia for a short while an over 200 steps up to the top but well worth the view if you can make it up there! Elafonissi beach itself is beautiful and breathtaking the pure soft pink sands and the clear blue waters are stunning! €20 for sunbeds and umbrella. Few gift shops around aswell. Would definitely recommend this day out. Educational and beautiful all round.

Beautiful Views of Vineyards and Olive Trees
This was a fantastic tour. You start off at the tour guide’s home with his dog… who is fantastic at finding the ball. Then you head out on a very brief beach ride. After, you head up into the mountains where you see valley after valley of fruit trees, olive farms, and vineyards. It’s spectacular to see. Much better of an experience than following other tourists from the cruise to the port shops. For folks on a cruise, they were very mindful of getting you back on time.

A special way to taste your way through Chania.
This was a relaxed and great tour. Christos, our guide was so informative and he had so many little surprises for us. Most of the stops we went to were family run for many generations. Christos‘S knowledge of the area, traditions and food as well as his sense of humour made the day great. Thanks.

Highlight of our trip to Crete
This was so Fun!!!! My wife and I were two of 12 participants (a family of 6 including 2 middle school aged and 2 adult children, and 3 other couples) and we had a great time with Sofia and her family. Sofia and her brother (I don't remember his name) were our primary hosts, but we met and interacted with may members of their family throughout our night. For the evening cooking class, we started with wine and getting to know each other, and then prepping the food (Lamb Kleftiko, Boureki, and Gemisto) and a snack (Rusk with tomate spread and goat cheese). We walked over to put the pots to bake in the outdoor oven, and had snacks while looking over the early evening sunset, with more wine. We returned to the prep area and made sweet and savory dumplings for frying, while drinking more wine. After that we went to see the farm's animals, where we got to feed chickens, and bunnies and milk a goat (for those that wanted it). we then walked over the Sofia's grandmother's house to meet her and toast to some distilled on the farm Raki. We then went back to a wonderful and ready dinner, with a few more items added to the table that Sofia's mother (also named Sofia) had prepared for us. We had dinner with more wine with several other family members joining us, before we started playing music first over the speaker, and then a live performance by Sofia's brother. After dinner we had some fruit, wine and more Raki and then had a small fun dance part in the evening air where they showed us the basic steps of a traditional dance with some fiery excitment! We then hung out back at the dinner table until folks slowly went home. We stayed for about 5 hours but could have left easily after 4 or stayed for 6 ot 7! All fo the food was incredible, and essentially EVERYTHING we had to eat and prepare with was harvest and produced on site. Besides this being a business, Sofia and family are passionate about hosting people. We felt like guests and not customers. Would repeat in a heartbeat

Life is good in Chania, one of the major cities on the island of Crete. Alongside some of the oldest signs of civilization in the Mediterranean lie vineyards, pink sand beaches, and charming villages that show Greek culture at its best. Chania tours take the hassle out of organizing your trip to the island—go to Elafonissi Beach, the White Mountains, or the ancient Palace of Knossos with easy transfers from your hotel. Or stick around in the city and explore some under-the-radar corners of the local food scene.
