Our tour with Dimitrios exceeded all expectations. First, from the very beginning Chania adventures communicated with us on pickup and activities of the day. Dimitrios was a wealth of knowledge. It was never a dull moment on the long ride. We learned so much of the history/culture of Crete. Our beach experience was wonderful. And that lunch......more than delicious. Getting to these destinations would have been so difficult to do on our own. And we would not have gain such a good understanding of Crete. Don't hesitate to do to this excursion....we highly recommend!

Great Beach Day

This was a great experience and one of my favorite days on Crete. Communication with Christine was seamless when coordinating pick up and Eleni + Kostas made sure the day ran smoothly. We arrived at Elafonissi beach before the crowds so there was time to enjoy it in peace. There was enough time to enjoy both beaches and with a stop at the Vouves olive tree. It was a small group for the day (11 people) and the packed lunch from the company was enough for the day. They also gave water throughout the day. I highly recommend this!

Wonderful guide and...

Wonderful guide and driver, Giorgos! I booked the tour literally the same morning at around 9 a.m., and by 12 p.m. he was already there to pick us up! He even messaged me beforehand and offered an earlier start time, which worked out perfectly and gave us more time to enjoy the day. In addition to the tour itself, he took us to the natural pool near Elafonissi Beach and then to Agia Sofia Cave, which was such a nice extra. There were two paddle boards included in the price, which was awesome for swimming and exploring the beach, plus snorkeling gear, snacks, iced water, soft drinks, and even a beach game. He also brought grapes from his own garden, which was such a lovely personal touch! Giorgos was very kind and made some great pictures of me and my family. He also gave us lots of helpful recommendations for dinner and other activities in Crete. Honestly, I’m confident this is one of the best tours you can take to Elafonissi. Everything was so well organized, and Giorgos really went above and beyond to make the day special. Highly recommend!

First class experience.A true private tour…When you book as a “group” even if there are only 2 of you then it will just be you and Angie…Lots of fun facts given and Angie flexible if you want to adjust itinerary.She makes sure you are always comfortable and warned about things we might find challenging…ie the extreme cold of the gorge so we then happily embraced it rather than being shocked! Please be brave and swim to the waterfalls…you’ll regret it if you don’t as a once in a lifetime type experience!

Beautiful, Relaxing & Accessible - Absolutely Worth It

Absolutely lovely tour guide. This was the perfect blend of scenery, history about Greece and Crete, and a relaxing few hours on the best beach we went to!!! If you are looking for a mild activity (we traveled with a grandma with some minor mobility issues) this is the tour for you!!! Couple minutes of rocky walking to the most picturesque view. The rest was total bliss and relaxation!! Can’t forget to mention the AMAZING and delicious lunch we had as well 10/10- highly recommend

Great day of sightseeing and sampling wine & food

Great day seeing many varied sights. Our Guide Demetrius was really wonderful. Very knowledgable about all the places he took us and pointed out many things along the way. He saw to our every need along the trip. The people at the winery and the wine tasting were very nice, and lunch at the monastery was absolutely delicious. It was one of the highlights of our trip and I would highly recommend it. Pictures are of the Milla Mountain Resort.

Excellent value trip

Quite a long walk down to beach and back up. Not suitable for anyone with mobility issues although we did make use of a disability van that was passing! Very reasonable snack bar on the beach. Take euros for sun bed hire and loos. Honey farm and Elos village were good stops. Ingrid was a very informative guide and Stavros an expert driver navigating hairpin bends!

Amazing trip, highly...

Amazing trip, highly recommend to anyone interested in hiking the Samaria Gorge! The views were fantastic and you get to hike the trail on your own pace. After all the hiking you get to relax on the beach and eat at the local restaurants. Our guide Nikos was great and very helpful too.

Fabulous way to experience Crete

Fabulous tour to see a part of Crete that is off the beaten path. Stopped to look at olive processing, off the regular road and up to a shepherds hut, scenic views, fresh oranges and more. Olga is a wonderful guide with a great sense of humor, knowledgeable and a safe driver. Lunch at the local restaurant was a real treat.
