Iconic lake tour of Banff

We had an amazing experience with Fairy Bus Tours, and a lot of the credit goes to our guide, Raj S. Raj was on time, very organized, and shared a lot of interesting information throughout the day without making it feel like a lecture. He also knew exactly where to position us to make the most of our time at both Moraine Lake and Lake Louise. Now for the fun part… 😄 Raj kept telling us that he’d been incredibly lucky with wildlife sightings over the past couple of weeks—everything from black bears to Banff’s famous grizzly, “The Boss.” We gave him a hard time and joked that we’d believe it only if he could deliver for our tour too. Well… on our way back from Lake Louise, we came around a bend and there was a beautiful black bear cub right by the roadside! The entire bus erupted with excitement. It couldn’t have been a more perfect ending to an already incredible day. Whether it was luck or Raj’s instincts, we’ll happily give him the credit! 😄 If you’re visiting Banff and trying to decide how to get to Moraine Lake and Lake Louise, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Fairy Bus Tours. Professional, well organized, informative, and a genuinely enjoyable experience from start to finish. 10/10. Thanks again, Raj!

Super Tour!

Absolutely wonderful day! Arun was an amazing driver/guide! He was a very safe driver and he was very kind at each stop by taking great pictures for us. Would highly recommend this tour. (It was a long day - about 12 hours, but that was fine by us as it meant that we had enough time and didn't feel rushed at each stop.)

Well organized tour

The tour was organized through Grizzly Banff Tours, a small local company. Grace, both our driver and guide was fantastic and kept us entertained and informed throughout the day. The tour includes the highly popular sites Lake Louise and Moraine Lake but they also take you to Surprise Corner and Bow Falls which is nice. We tried to book the Parcs Canada shuttle but did not succeed and ended up booking this tour. During the tour we realized we made a really good decision. Being on the shuttle gives you a little more freedom but the parking situation is so bad that you probably end up wasting a lot of time finding paroling before you can get on the shuttle. The waiting time for the shuttles and the connector is also an issue. There were so many tourists at the two lakes that having additional time there would not have helped anyway. Considering all that and the information provided, we would highly recommended this tour and of course Grace, if you are lucky to have her as your guide. Pick up and drop off in Banff were extremely convenient for us. There are also pickup points in Canmore and Calgary, but Banff is the most convenient from a total time standpoint.

This was an informative tour which took us through gorgeous territory . You cannot do this without an organized tour and guide. We were a small grioup. Worked out perfectly. Mike was an outstanding guide. Great personality. Kept us entertained and informed.

Fantastic!

This was jam packed, busy day, but well worth it! This is a great experience that hit many of the well known sights to see around Banff. I chose this tour because not only did we get to visit Lake Louise and Moraine Lake, but this was one of the few tours that went to Emerald lake in the summer time. Ron was a great tour guide and very knowledgeable of the area and its history! He really helped make the tour fun! I would highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting to hit a lot of popular spots in one trip!

Great day around Banff!

Everything from the start to end of the trip wS fantastic. Ashish did a great job in setting the tone for the day by arriving on time, explaining about each and every spots, giving us timely directions and dropping us back safely. Fantastic way to see 3 amazing lakes

A fantastic day out seeing three amazing lakes, the natural bridge and a lunch break at the Lake Louise Village. We had the best tour guide Martin and our bus driver was also very good (sadly didn’t get his name)! Articulate and knowledgeable Martin entertained us throughout the day, gave us expert tips on how to make the most of each stop and in between his commentary played excellent low key music. All in all it was an excellent and memorable day and good value for money! Highly recommend this tour.

Amazing time on this tour!!

We had such an amazing experience on this tour! We originally planned to visit the lakes on our own, but when that didn’t work out, we booked this tour, and honestly, we’re so glad we did. Our tour guide, Ahmed, was fantastic. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the entire day fun and engaging. He shared so many interesting facts about Banff and the surrounding area while keeping the atmosphere relaxed and enjoyable. Our driver, Joe, was wonderful as well. He got us safely to every stop, and everything ran smoothly throughout the day. We loved that the itinerary included several beautiful lakes, and it was so nice not having to worry about planning or driving ourselves. It made for a completely stress-free day, and we were able to just relax and enjoy the incredible scenery. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Banff. Thank you, Ahmed and Joe, for making our trip so memorable!

Great tour

We had a very good half-day tour, with plenty of time to enjoy both lakes. Sean was an excellent guide, sharing lots of interesting information throughout the tour, and he drove us safely and comfortably. One suggestion would be to make the pickup point clearer. According to the information provided by Viator, I was waiting in front of the hotel, while the bus was actually waiting behind the hotel. Clearer pickup instructions would make it easier for guests to find the bus.

We saw a LOT of Banff in just one day. It was really nice to not have to drive and deal with parking at each location. Our guide, Ben, was really knowledgeable about Banff and its history. The lakes are breathtaking and we really enjoyed the view from the top of Sulphur Mountain.

Best, comfortable and bundle tour in Banff.

Great and bundle tour offered by Banff Journey tour company. Those who want to cover best and main tourists spots of Banff in a single day - that's the tour which you want and it's good to travel with all age groups. Our tour guide "Sam" was great and he enjoys his work. He did take beautiful pictures on good spots on the locations included in our itinerary. Tour bus was comfortable and offered snacks and water as well. I would surely suggest this tour to people who are coming with family or as a couple.
