Highly recommend the Banff tour including Lake Louise and Johnson Canyon. Heather was very informative and entertaining. She even provided surprise for us - mama grizzly bear and her 2 cubs having lunch!!

It was a great experience, especially if you want to get a quick view of some major spots in Banff. However, due to weather and timing issues, not everything on the itinerary ended up happening.
I called multiple times beforehand after realizing Lake Moraine was closed for the season, and I was assured Johnston Canyon would replace it. I also asked if there would be any other changes to the itinerary and was told no.
Unfortunately, during the tour, it seemed we were behind schedule, so we didn’t get to see a few of the spots originally listed. The driver mentioned we could either visit Johnston Canyon or Lake Minnewanka, even though Lake Minnewanka was already part of the itinerary. Due to the group vote, we only got to see Johnston Canyon.
That being said, our tour guide Joshua was great very interactive, friendly, and knowledgeable. I just wish we had gotten to see all the key spots included in the tour that we paid for.

I would not recommend this trip if you have your own transport. We only visited 4 places in the day with a stop in Banff for lunch not the original 6 which were listed on the itinerary.
We mainly booked this tour to visit Moraine lake, 4 days before I received a message saying the Moraine lake has been closed since October and will not reopen till June. We felt that this was very misleading to be advertised in the description of the tour when booking as the operator would have know for it to be closed at this stage.
The tour guide was engaging however the tour itself was very slow pace and we were made to walk as a group of 22 at Johnston Canyon which made us feel like we were on a school trip. Also as faster walkers this was very frustrating waiting for others as it meant we didn’t have time to explore more of the waterfall.
We didn’t not feel that this tour was value for money at all and I would not recommend booking especially during the months when Moraine lake is closed.

This was a lovely small group tour. Bob, our drive and guide, was attentive and shared great stories about the area. If you aren’t into bad dad jokes, and some silliness, stay away. Other than that, it was an amazing tour and very reasonable.

Van was very old and uncomfortable ( metal head rests, school bus small seats and no outlets for phones)
Our tour was part of a training lesson for a new driver which added to a very long day- Tour guides switched mid tour to expedite day. Our first stop after 5 long hours in van making 2 stops to pick up different guests was Lake Louise. It was frozen so not much to see. 1 hour was allotted for this stop which was too long. Out next stop was Johnson Canyon. After another 45 minute drive we arrived to a closed canyon. It was closed the day before so you would think the company or the 2 drivers would have checked prior to traveling there. 2 large signs heading to this canyon also said it was closed but we continued to waste more time. we finally arrived to the town of Banff after 8 hours in a van for lunch (3 pm) . We wish we had more time than the 70 minutes we had to see this quaint town with lots to see.
It was a very long day and renting a car would have been so much better. Very disappointed in this tour.

Bob was fantastic—he shared so many fun stories! My cousin and I had a wonderful time together.
The bus was very comfortable, and the small group of 18 made the experience even better. He gave interesting explanations every time we passed a viewpoint.
We 100% recommend this trip! Now my neighbour, who lives in Calgary, is excited to try it for a fun experience too.

Our experience with the service was excellent. The guide was highly proactive, providing us with advance notice about the meeting time a day beforehand and arriving punctually for pickup. He shared a wealth of historical information and interesting insights, along with lighthearted jokes that made the journey engaging and enjoyable. His driving was both comfortable and safe throughout the trip.
Overall, it was an amazing day with an outstanding guide, Bob. I would definitely recommend Viator. One suggestion for improvement would be to offer hotel pickup and drop-off services, which would be especially helpful for travelers with small children, particularly during the winter or spring seasons.

Bob was the most amazing tour guide, so knowledgeable and funny. Caring too, helping people not even in our group who were slipping on the ice. He also took photos for us and gave us relevant info and stories. We lucked out with fantastic weather and a clear sky. The bus was comfortable and we stopped at key spots along the way. Had a nice lunch in Banff and enjoyed our hike at Johnston Canyon. Overall the best day ever!! Highly recommend!!! Thank you, Bob!!

Awesome Experience 😍 of a Day tour with the Perfect Tour Guide Joshua 🫡 to make it memorable for us with his Fun Nature.
