We absolutely loved our Banff tour with our guide, Roger. From start to finish, everything was smooth, fun, and full of interesting stories. He’s friendly, knowledgeable, and always made sure everyone was having a great time. His love for his hometown, hockey & music added fun while we’re on the road.
We learned so much while still feeling relaxed and entertained the whole way. Highly recommend this tour — it was one of the highlights of our Canada trip!
And oh, Lake Louise is a sight to behold. We’re lucky to see it before the water gets frozen during winter.

Joshua was the BEST. Prompt, funny, informative, personable! It was one of the best tours we have ever gone on. I would not hesitate to recommend him for a day tour. The lakes were beautiful, too!
Excellent day trip. Bob was our driver he kept it light and fun! He was funny and kept us engaged and enjoying the day.
This tour was exactly what we needed for this area. It was so smooth and easy to get to all of the locations. Our tour guide Heather was right on time. She was warm and kept things moving along with a sense of purpose and humor. Heather provided running commentary in between stops and good insight on how to explore our stops once we arrived. She was a very careful driver and followed all rules of the road. We felt comfortable and well taken care of....
Families and couples were very compatible and respectful of each other. The scenery is gorgeous and the tour has access to areas that individuals would have difficulty entering. Highly recommend this tour. You will enjoy
Today’s tour to Peyto Lake and the Columbia Icefield was easily one of the highlights of my trip. The mountain views were stunning, and we even got fresh snow, which made the landscapes look unreal. A huge shoutout to Gary, our tour guide, who was top-notch—engaging, helpful, and full of great insights throughout the entire day. Don't hesitate to book this tour!

This tour of Banff area and attractions was great. What made this tour really special was our guide Bob. He was informative, entertaining and was there to assist us with any mobility issues and taking pics of the the great scenery of all of us!
Great tour! We were so glad we booked this tour. This tour allow us to drive right up to the top of the parking lots in both lake areas without having to worry about limited parking or reservation on shuttles. Both Lakes-Moraine and Louise are beautiful and having our tour guide point out photo opportunities and trails was very helpful. Banff is a nice town and Bow Falls was picturesque. We had an incredible guide, Bob! He was knowledgeable, loved his job, great sense of humor and very organized. He made the tour special!
Plan for an all day fantastic trip exploring the Canadian Rockies and some of the best Lake views ever. Pack some snacks. Charge your phone! The water is really THAT blue. It’s AMAZING. Our tour guide Roger made sure that all the strangers in the morning left better acquainted by end of tour. He provided fun, facts and genuine kindness to our trip. We highly recommend this tour. It started in Calgary, but picked us up in Banff with no issues. Enjoy!!
I loved this trip and if you're in Calgary, don't hesitate - just do it! Stunning locations as you will see from the photos, but also our tour guide Joshua was awesome - great fun, knowledgeable, and really invested in making sure everyone has the best experience. I can't recommend highly enough!
Absolutely fantastic tour of all the major sights around Banff. Our guide Josh, was enthusiastic, knowledgeable and incredible helpful. He was so funny and his love of the area was infectious. It was a great tour, but it was Josh who made the day extra special
Be very careful booking with this company. They will not work with you at all if there are any issues with your reservation.
I booked what was intended to be an October 1st tour just two days prior (September 26th). On the evening of September 27th, I received a confirmation message stating my tour was scheduled for the following morning, September 28th. Whether caused by a platform glitch or an unnoticed date reset during checkout, an obvious booking error occurred.
I immediately caught the issue before the tour took place. I messaged the guide directly, called and left voicemails for the operator, sent inquiries through the platform messaging system, and reached out to Viator customer support to correct the reservation to Thursday.
I was not a no-show asking for my money back after the fact, nor was I even requesting a refund. I simply wanted to take the tour on the intended day. Instead of working with me, the operator repeatedly just restated behind a 24-hour cancellation rule. I explained that it was impossible to notify them earlier since I only discovered the scheduling issue via their confirmation text the evening before, but they completely refused to budge, claiming lost revenue on seats that weren't even sold out.
Even when I asked for a minor gesture of goodwill, such as a partial credit or a discount to rebook with them for Thursday, they gave another firm ‘no.’ They kept my $172 without delivering any service or showing the slightest shred of reasonable customer support.
Honestly, I think I am the most shocked that they wouldn’t even offer a discount after I was still interested in booking another tour after they had been so rude and unwilling to help at all.
There are plenty of reputable companies running trips to Banff and Lake Louise; choose one that actually values customer care over rigid, zero-compromise policies when a clear error happens.

Thank you for your review. We would like to clarify a few important points for future guests reading this.
When a reservation is completed through Viator, an automatic booking confirmation is sent showing the selected travel date and booking details. Guests have the opportunity to review this information immediately after booking and can cancel or make changes within the applicable cancellation period. It is ultimately the guest’s responsibility to ensure that the correct travel date is selected when making a reservation.
Viator's cancellation policy is clearly stated at the time of booking: cancellations or rescheduling requests made less than 24 hours before the tour are non-refundable. This policy applies equally to all guests. Once a reservation is confirmed, we reserve that seat and plan our vehicle capacity and operations accordingly. A late cancellation or request to move the reservation to another date does not change the fact that the original seat was reserved.
We also want to clarify the statement that our team was rude. We responded patiently to the guest’s calls and messages and repeatedly explained the reservation and cancellation policy. We understand that the guest was disappointed that we could not make an exception, but declining an exception to a clearly stated policy should not be confused with poor or rude customer service.
We genuinely understand that booking the wrong date can be frustrating. However, we cannot make different cancellation rules depending on each individual situation. Applying the same published policy consistently to every guest is the fairest approach.
We hope this clarification is helpful to future guests: please carefully check the travel date on your Viator confirmation after booking. If something is incorrect, contact us as soon as possible and, when changes are requested within the permitted cancellation period, we will be happy to assist.
Well organized, timely tour. Mike is an incredible tour guide that brings so much enthusiasm and history and fun facts to the tour! Just about the right time at each stop. I loved it!
My first trip to Canada, and it absolutely deserved its 5-star rating! Joshua, our guide, was excellent—funny, energetic, and took great photos. The tour group was amazing and punctual, and the destinations were totally worth it. Moraine Lake was my favorite, and I even got to see snow for the first time ever! It's a shame it was cloudy that day, so my pictures don't do it justice, but the actual scenery is breathtaking. You must visit this place once in your lifetime. Highly recommended!
Awesome experience!! Tour operator was Banff Everyday tour ! Roger Roger was our driver and guide! Giving him 5 stars !! Very accommodative and fantastic person. Kept us engaged on the drive with his Trivia questions!! Strongly recommend!
Lake Louise was much better than Lake Moraine. The tour was comfortable. Lake Moraine is a bit too overrated. The bathrooms have HUGE lines. Go before you see the lake.
We chose this after realizing that these sites would be very hard to visit with your car. As an added, plus we could be picked up in Calgary As it turned out the tour guide was fantastic and the experience well worth it.
This was a great overview of many must see spots. The trip was well organized, and our driver Dave was both knowledgeable and entertaining.

Regarding the seating, every guest who books with us is guaranteed a seat. As this is a shared group tour, seating is first come, first served, and on a full tour the vehicle can naturally feel a little more cozy. 😊 We appreciate your understanding and hope the beautiful Rockies made it all worthwhile!

Our guide Bob (did I spell his name backwards? Lol) was great! He was very knowledgeable, friendly and funny. The lakes were phenomenal! Highly recommended.
The tour was much more than I expected (not being enamored with group tours) and I would recommended it to anyone going to Banff/Lake Louise. We were able to get into Lake Moraine which can be considered "full" at times. We had a very comprehensive day with a local, professional guide who has been a park ranger as a career. The pace was good and the stops were well chosen. It was a small group and every effort was made to get to know our fellow travelers. Dave was the best and it would be great if everyone had the opportunity to be in his group. We boarded at a hotel in Calgary and I was dreading the "long" ride from there and back, but it didn't seem long at all. There were still interesting things to see along the was and Dave made the time go very fast.

The lakes are breathtaking with their turquoise clear water and stunning scenery. I enjoyed the commentary about formation and differences in Rocky Mountains peaks as we travelled through them. I would recommend this tour to everyone.
