Wonderful private tour

I highly recommend seeing the pyramids this way! We had both a private driver and an experienced certified tour guide, Mahmoud, who provided not only his knowledge of the pyramids but pointed out other sites of interest & explained the daily life & culture of Cairo’s inhabitants. They worked on our time & took us to the museum, a nice buffett lunch spot and back safely to our hotel. We were not rushed. This tour made the day stress free and enhoyable and is well worth the money.

The driver and guide make it special!

The first thing I would say is you do not need to worry about anybody bothering you. I don’t know why everybody talks about this on Facebook and Instagram but it’s not true.The vendors here are lovely. They all welcome you to Egypt if you say you’re not interested in buying anything from them. But Karim took me past everybody because I told him I wasn’t interested in buying anything today. I did buy some papyrus paintings because they were absolutely beautiful and amazing works of art. There are some very nice places that he will take you at the end of the trip if you’re interested in learning about how they make different things in Egypt, especially because this is where papyrus, oils, and spices originally come from. So enjoy yourself! Ahmed was a great driver in a lovely air-conditioned car. Neither of them smoked cigarettes, which was definitely a plus.!!! Karim had extensive knowledge of all of the places that we went to, and I could ask him about anything and he knew the history of all of it. Higher and Egyptologist all of these tours have them they know everything about their beautiful country and all of the ancient places you will see. I highly recommend this tour indefinitely. Karim and Ahmed made it extra special.

The best in Cairo!

We’ve had a simply unforgettable experience in Cairo. My family have loved every minute of our time with our three amazing tour guides; Mohamed, Andrew and Hannah. They are all so knowledgeable! As a fairly large group of 12, they were incredibly patient and we felt taken care of every step of the way. Definitely book! Incredible morning at the pyramids

We had an excellent tour with our guide Ibrahim Allam. He was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about Egyptian history and the pyramids. He also took some excellent photos of us at the pyramids and sphinx. We couldn’t recommend the tour more. We were picked up at 7:30am and would suggest to do this to avoid the heat and the crowds.

It really was an exceptional day - worth every penny!

What a wonderful day. Nevin our guide was fantastic and gave us a day which was exceptional. She picked us up on time, avoided all but the odd crowd and ensured we got some amazing pictures across the day. She seemed to know everyone who works across the sites and meant we were able to view or access areas with ease. We wanted to go inside the pyramid which took around half an hour to do and Nevin helped us purchase these extra tickets. It was quite challenging and gets very hot but well worth the experience. Having gone around the sites at Giza we went to the new museum and we were shown around here by Nevin also. At Giza we used the free shuttle bus to move between the sites. Along the way we stopped at a fragrance / perfume shop which wasn’t pushy and we enjoyed some Arabic coffee there too. We saw how papyrus was made, were able again to buy souvenirs without the push and got some nice things. We ate a falafel wrap on the go which was delicious and then helped ourselves to both water and fresh mini mangos, fresh dates and water that were in the car. We started the day with a pickup at 08:30 and got back to the hotel around 18:00. It really was one of those days I will look back on with very fond memories. Thank you so much Nevin for such a wonderful day.

Our experience on the Saqqara & Memphis tour was truly exceptional, and a huge part of that was because of our tour leader Mo From the very beginning, Mo went far beyond what was expected of him. The tour was scheduled for only 6 hours but he never made us feel rushed or limited by the clock. He took the time to make sure we were able to visit all the sites and experience everything without feeling like we were missing out. He genuinely wanted us to get the most out of our day. Mo is also an excellent English speaker which made communicating with him effortless throughout the entire experience. More importantly he is incredibly knowledgeable not only about the specific sites we visited but about ancient Egyptian civilization and Egyptian history in general. His explanations gave us context and helped us understand the significance of what we were seeing rather than simply looking at ancient monuments. What stood out to us most was his incredible patience and hospitality. At every site, Mo would wait patiently for us outside while we explored. He never called us repeatedly, rushed us, or made us feel like we were taking up his time. He simply waited and made sure we were comfortable. That level of patience and respect really says a lot about the kind of person he is. The tour was supposed to include water bottles but in the morning Mo went out of his way to buy drinks for both my wife and me. It was such a thoughtful gesture, and it perfectly reflected how genuinely hospitable he is. It wasn't something he had to do it was simply something he wanted to do to make our experience better. Another thing that really impressed us was that the tour was supposed to rely on an audio guide but Mo personally explained everything to us along the way. Before we arrived at each site, he gave us valuable historical background and insights about what we were about to see. That made the experience much more engaging and helped us appreciate the sites on a completely different level. But what impressed us most was that Mo never seemed focused on doing the minimum required. He was focused on making sure we had a special, unforgettable experience. In fact, he never even asked us for a tip. I actually asked him why because we were so impressed by his service. His response really stayed with us. He explained that whether we tipped him or not, this was his job, and he was going to do his best to make sure we had a great experience. That says everything about Mo's character and professionalism. He takes genuine pride in what he does, and his hospitality comes across as completely sincere. Mo went out of his way to make our day exceptional, and because of him, our visit to Saqqara and Memphis became much more than just a sightseeing tour, it became a truly memorable experience. Thank you, Mo for your patience, kindness, professionalism, incredible knowledge, and genuine hospitality. You exceeded our expectations in every way. We couldn't recommend you highly enough! 🇪🇬❤️

Amazing day with Haitham!

Highly recommend - amazing day!

We booked this trip last-minute on a whim and weren't sure what to expect. It was amazing! A must-do if you have time. The bent pyramid was a once-in-a-lifetime experience but not for the faint of heart! Ahmed was an excellent guide and the entire day exceeded our expectations! Highly recommend.

I loved the experience! I absolutely enjoyed spending time in the boat, having Khaled as a tour guide and visiting all these magnificent places! The boat was clean and well maintained, the staff responded to any requests promptly, and they even organised a mini birthday celebration for my friend! Everything was great. The only thing is that on the last day instead of prioritising visiting the sights our tour guide took us to visit some overpriced shops, which was fine because it gave me an opportunity to buy souvenirs for my friends and family, but I would prefer to finish visiting all the sights first, and then go shopping. As a result we weren’t given enough time to visit the last temple because we had to rush back home as one of the people on our tourgroup had the bus to catch. Another thing is that on the same day we were taken to a super overpriced restaurant for lunch, we didn’t have a say in choosing the restaurant, the food there was mediocre, we weren’t even given a menu to order, and the end price turns out to be extremely expensive! The food we got definitely wasn’t worth it and it’s a bit upsetting as we trusted our tour guide (probably he gets a commission or something from this restaurant). However, I absolutely loved the personality of our tour guide, so can forgive him this :) as I already said, I absolutely loved the whole experience, and can’t wait to go back! I’m already planning to bring my husband on the same trip! All thanks to Khaled and the amazing boat crew;)
