Fun and Informative Class!

TLDR; fun activity, great teacher and environment, definitely recommend! FULL: Very educational and fun class! Our instructor, Anna, was very pleasant and made the difficult task of learning to temper chocolate a breeze! The group was not too large and a mix of ages from teens to mature adults. The size of the group also made it easy to watch demonstrations and also mingle with others. For our class, we did have to go up to the second floor (3rd floor for Americans), which is only accessible via stairs. While not a problem for my group, it might be good to note for anyone with different mobility needs, in case it’s not mentioned in the description. TLDR; fun activity, great teacher and environment, definitely recommend!

Our guide, Charles, was wonderful—born and raised in Brussels, he brought the city to life with his knowledge, historic context, and interesting stories behind the foods we sampled and buildings we walked by. Everything we tried was tasty, and it was such a fun way to see the city on our first visit. Our small group of six people was a perfect size and made the experience feel personal and relaxed. George was amazing !! Our tour of Antwerp was absolutely the highlight of our trip to Belgium, and it was all thanks to our incredible guide! From the moment we met outside the breathtaking Antwerp Central Station, their passion for this beautiful city was completely contagious. They did an amazing job balancing Antwerp’s rich, deep history with fun local legends and modern culture. We walked through the stunning Grote Markt, admired the medieval guild houses, and learned the fascinating story behind the Brabo Fountain. They also pointed out amazing details on the spectacular Cathedral of Our Lady and took us to see the historic Het Steen castle. What made this tour truly special was how personable, engaging, and flexible our guide was. Instead of just rattling off dry dates and facts, they felt like a local friend showing us around. They perfectly tailored the pace to our group, happily answered all of our endless questions, and even showed us a few hidden, off-the-beaten-path spots that we never would have discovered on our own. To top it all off, they gave us fantastic personal recommendations for the best Belgian waffles, local frites, and neighborhood spots to check out after the tour ended. Eating through Brussels..Magnifique!

Florent was an excellent guide who was born and raised in Belgium! He shared with us not only history but also took us on a Belgian journey of foods that was one better than another as well as sampling beer! We were a small group of six who got to know each other and the Belgian people! Florent also provided us with some places to eat in Bruges which was another tour along with a pub to sample beers! Fun and yummy activity

This was such a fun activity. Francois was such a lovely host. She had anecdotes to share and gave us the history facts for what we were drinking. The waffles and beer were delicious. Getting to the place was so easy and singable was clear. It’s up the road from Manneken-Pis, so you can catch that on the way there.

Excellent tour without feeling touristy

Mark was very thorough and took us to all of the typical tourist highlights but also added some amazing stops at shops like Elisabeth and BS40 for chocolates (staff was all so friendly and attentive) as well as giving some history and examples of brown bars and beer history. The meal was incredible and having it in a private room felt more personal than some large scale operations. Every choice Mark made including his service was impeccable.

Delicious fun informative

The intake at the main location was not welcoming and then you do walk about 5 minutes to the classroom/kitchen. BUT Patricia gave a wonderfully informative presentation and we made lots of delicious chocolates! I went solo and felt welcome and included in our small group. Can’t wait to try my chocolates! Overall a really fun afternoon!
