Fab and lush

This was a easy and smooth experience from Auckland. Our driver spoke about the local land and NZ culture on the drive down, as a Kiwi it gave me time to relax and read. The weather was kind to us and the people I meet were fab. Everyone in my group was punctual and on time and we all respected each others space. The actual tour was and beautiful. Great Tour

Hobbiton is a must for all Lord of the Rings fans, it was amazing being in the location where the movie was made! Visiting Waitomo Cave and seeing the glowworms was a peaceful and surreal experience. Wonderful tour with amazing sites!

We had an excellent tour including Rotorua, Waiotapu, Te Puia, and Māori. Our tour guide, David, was extremely knowledgeable and engaging. He was very helpful with the needs of his tour group. The sites were amazing! The geothermal springs and mud flats were amazing. The tour was enhanced by David’s selection of stops for snacks at the best bakery and ice cream shop! This was a well-planned...

This was a well-planned and fun experience. Our tour guide Simon was funny, nice, and knowledgeable. The Hobbiton movie set tour was detailed and well worth the travel from Auckland. Simon took us on roads less traveled so we could see lovely countryside. The glow worm cave tour was brief but interesting; the boat ride was clearly the best part. We also had a fabulous lunch included and stopped a few times for coffee and ice cream. Although it was a long day, it really didn't feel that way and we had good conversation, some laughs, and a great time overall.

The staff were communicative, be prepared for some choppy waves(part of the exp for my mind) limited seating so if mobility is an issue potentially look at other options. Saw plenty of wildlife but know nothing is guaranteed. It is a long trip if you have small children have something to keep them distracted:)

Caves, Kiwi and Blue Springs are a Spiritual Experience

The Glowworms Cave experience is one of beauty and reverence. Our guide was informative, respectful and spiritual. This is an experience not to be missed. The Kiwi Hose was quant, and enjoyable. Our Driver came along with us and gave some interesting facts bout the birds we saw. Finally the Blue Springs was a lovely experience of pure nature which capped the day nicely. Now, a word of caution - be sure to check with your tour company about pick up times. Know that you will have only 20 minutes for a breakfast take away after 2 hours of driving. The same can be said for the Lunch time - which came at 3:30pm on our excursion. The entire day was 11+ hours as advertised.

Incredible Experience!

In March, we went on a tour to the Waitomo Caves with David, and he did everything to make the trip memorable and comfortable. On the drive over, he entertained us with interesting stories of history and science. We also stopped at a bakery that was great. For the actual caves, a different guide took us through, and the glow worm cave was simply out of this world! What an incredible experience! I did a fair bit of research in choosing which location to see the glow worm caves, and I am so happy with this choice! On the way back, David took us to the Fat Kiwi, which was a delicious lunch spot. As a driver and tour guide, he made us feel safe and well cared for during the tour. I would highly recommend visiting such an incredible spot with this tour company!

Beautiful tour! We had the best time and Ayla was an excellent guide. She gave us plenty of opportunities for pictures, she explained everything in great detail, and she was just super nice to boot! I highly recommend the tour. Also, the company notified me that they found my inhaler in their van (I hadn’t even noticed it was missing) and dropped it off at my hotel. What a great company!

Wonderful tour. We took the tour of Hobbiton and the Waitomo glowworm caves during the off season. It was perfect because we felt like we had the places to ourselves. Hobbiton is bigger than I expected. We felt fully immersed in the village. The "Hobbit meal" afterwards was delicious. The Waitomo glowworm caves were also spectacular. It was a beautiful experience. We highly recommend this tour.
