Cooking in Athens
Wasn't sure what to expect, but the chef was engaging, got the 8 of us in the class involved and wou d up with a great dinner on the rooftop looking at the Acropolis. Wine was extra, but not a problem...but the end result, the dinner was fresh, clean and good!

Amazing tour, our guide Lydia is exceptional!
The highlight of our Greece trip is probably this Acropolis tour that includes the museum visit. The tour started promptly and our guide Lydia is amazing. She is very knowledgeable, knows the best spot to take pictures, remembers all the historical information, had amazing situational awareness, being cautious about the kids on tour and ensuring safety of her guests proactively reminding us to hydrate and watch our steps. My young kids enjoyed the museum tour because of Lydia.

What a great experience! ...
What a great experience! The tour guide was excellent. Loved her manner and the way she explained everything. I enjoyed listening to her explaining Greece history. Also her awareness of safety was throughout the trip. The view of Acropolis was as expected beautiful! Definitely worth it!!!!

Excellent tour
The meeting place was easy to find and very well organised. It's then only a short walk to the Acropolis entrance. Our guide was very friendly and approachable and made the tour really interesting and did his best to find shady spots whenever he could. He was also very consiencous about everyone's safety, making sure everyone had a bottle of water before we left and pointing out areas that were particularly uneven or slippery.

  • Choose between a standard entrance ticket and a multi-attraction ticket that includes access to other sites.

  • Admission lines can take up to two hours in peak summer, so it's best to book ahead.

  • The site provides little shade—bringing sunscreen, a hat, and water during summer is highly recommended.

  • Wear comfortable shoes suitable for walking over uneven ground.

  • Most areas of the archaeological site are wheelchair-accessible. Find an elevator on the northwest side.

  • Skip the line tickets are essential during the high season.
