After redeeming your ticket, please follow the signs to the Group Entrance for Online Reservations at Vatican Museums. There may be a wait of up to 10 minutes at this entrance. All visitors are required to pass through airport-style security screening. During peak season, the wait at security may be up to 30 minutes
Once you're in the Museum you can explore until the closing time of the Vatican Museums.
On rare occasions, the Sistine Chapel closes without notice in which case the tour operator will not offer refunds.
Shoulders and knees must be covered, and long pants/dresses and long-sleeved shirts are preferred.

The Vatican Museums can get very crowded all year round, particularly June, July, and August.

Visitors must exit the halls at least 30 minutes before the museum's closing time
A valid passport and modest dress covering shoulders and knees are required for entry. Please also remember to bring water
