What a terrific evening in Rome- great way to learn pasta making by a true professional and have fun along the way. No expertise needed- so great for families with teenagers. Chef Angelo is so charming & kind- and he totally knows his pasta! Loved our experience- will recommend to all our friends!

Phenomenal time with Angelo. We attended the class with our two teenage boys, 17 & 15, and they said it was the best part of our trip to Italy. Angelo did an amazing job explaining everything and made it fun at the same time. I am ready to cook homemade pasta at home. Grazie Angelo!

The chefs were very knowledgable and we were given easy to follow instructions! The result was incredible (and tasty!). They had fun music playing and were very intentional at remembering each of our names. The location was also well-designed and very clean. It felt extremely personal (with a small class size) and professional. A++

How can a place have so many great reviews? Because it's amazing! I went with my mother and 9 year old daughter. We all had the best time. Chef Emanuele and his sous Chef Suleman are fantastic. Hands on from start to finish. Chef gave us thorough yet simple instructions on how to prepare pasta from scratch. To follow we were put to the test. The atmosphere is welcoming and the chefs are patient instructors. The whole process was about 3 hours and felt like 30 minutes. Highly recommend!!!

What a fun food experience! Chef’s Emanuele and Angelo are great people and fantastic instructors. Our family enjoyed the night and left with the knowledge and confidence to make delicious pasta dishes on our own. Just returned home and went to the store to get the ingredients so we can make pasta tonight! In Florence I got lucky and found a kitchen store where I bought a rolling pin like we used in class. My favorite souvenir! Highly recommend to anyone from novice to advanced cooks interested in learning new techniques, eating a great meal, and having a really fun evening!

An evening to remember…

Our pasta class was on the last evening we had in Rome, and considering all of the incredible experiences we’d already packed into our week, we weren’t expecting to walk away feeling as blown away as we were. We homeschool our sons (7 and 10), and travel a good bit. When we plan trips, we always like to find hands-on experiences so they’re learning about different cultures through actually participating and doing the things that particular culture/country is known for. We’ve completed cooking classes in other countries that were excellent, but our evening with Emanuele and Angelo shot straight to the top of our list of favorite experiences… maybe ever! Everyone asks what the best part of our trip was, and the boys immediately go to the pasta class as not only their favorite activity, but also their favorite meal! We’d had a private tour of the Vatican, a day-long private tour that was sort of an overview of all of Rome, the boys had done “gladiator school”, we’d eaten incredible meals, and yet the pasta making tops our list of memorable experiences. There wasn’t a dull moment- Angelo and Emanuele were so kind, so engaging, they were funny, patient, encouraging, well-organized, and perhaps the best thing to witness was the way they both exuded such a passion for sharing their culture and their tradition with all of us in the class. As a side note- I’m an interior designer. The right lighting and ambience mean a lot to me and are the first thing I notice about wherever I am. The way they’ve set the place up is so beautiful. You walk in and your eye immediately goes toward taking in these rustic brick ceilings, a gorgeous table set with fresh flowers and candles, the workspace felt well-lit, yet still warm and intimate. The setting and the music really added something extra special to the whole evening. Lastly- although we don’t have any allergies or food restrictions to accommodate ourselves, there was a woman there who was gluten-free. I was impressed with how much attention they paid to making sure they got everything right for her. I just wanted to mention that for anyone reading this who needs special accommodations. To close out this (long) review, we just want to thank Emanuele and Angelo for such a great time. We will absolutely be back for another class on our next trip to Rome. Thank you both :)

My two kids (ages 14 and 10) and I had so much fun at the Pasta lab! It was definitely a highlight during our visit to Rome. Angelo and Sulemon (sorry if I spelled this incorrectly) were both great with my kids, and really positive energy. The other people in the class were lovely as well. My sons asked me to buy a mattarello pasta rolling pin so that we could make it all at home; the pasta we made was so delicious. Highly recommend this experience!

This was so much more fun than we could have ever imagined. Angelo was kind, funny and so wonderful with all of the guests, including and especially our 7 year old daughter. We had chefs from every corner of the globe and he went out of his way to make each of us feel comfortable both with him and each other. Was the highlight of our entire family for our time in Rome. Loved this !!! Emanuele was a fabulous instructor! He modeled techniques and coached us as we tried. He was funny and the music was great while we worked. One of the best things I’ve done when traveling ! Group was also a small size and the meal was tasty. Highly recommend and I can’t wait to try the recipes at home! Thanks !

My wife and I have done a dozen cooking classes around the world. This was our favorite experience ever! The chefs were very talented, funny, playful, interactive and were able to speak and translate to everyone in the group in English, Italian, French and even some Hebrew. Their space is brand new, just gorgeous, the right amount of space, a beautiful dining area separate from the kitchen area, you would think you were in a friends dining room (with 12 other people). Their instructions and demonstrations were great but their recipes were their own creations EVERYONE agreed the pasta and sauce mixtures were among the best they ever had. It was fun, we learned, we ate and drank like crazy ... you will love this experience, by yourselves, with friends or family. Thank you guys!

We had an amazing experience at the Professional Lab Pasta factory. The staff were helpful, funny and very friendly. They provided us with some excellent tips for making great pasta. This was by far the best tour/activity we participated in, in Italy! We have even replicated the skills we learnt back home!

I can really see why this is the number one pasta making course. We made fettuccine, ravioli, tortellini and gnocchi. The pasta was delicious and super fun to make. We really learned the best techniques to make pasta and got to go home with all the recipes. A must do if you can book a spot while you’re in Rome
