We were so fortunate to have Roberto as our guide. His knowledge and gift for story telling turned every visit into something truly wondrous. Simply put he has the ability to integrate faith, art and history seamlessly into
his presentation leaving one in awe and wanting to learn more.

Thank you very much for your kind words. I’m glad to hear that you enjoyed the tour and that the combination of faith, art, and history left a lasting impression.

What a joy. After three weeks in Rome we finally met a tour guide with real depth, critical thought and a desire to take visitors beyond the usual suspects. Really a must for anyone who wants to dig deep into Rome. We are ready to join more of his tours.

Thank you! It means a great deal to hear that the tour stood out after three weeks in Rome. I’ll be delighted to welcome you on another tour soon!

I can’t recommend this tour. The guide asked to meet at the train station by the statue. That is a huge area. When I arrived there, I wrote to ask for specific directions. He didn’t reply, or look for me. So I started wandering around looking for him. He did not wear or show anything to identify himself or the tour. When I finally found him, he did not smile or welcome me. He did not smile once on the tour. He walked and talked too fast. He was hard to understand. He kept checking his watch. I was the only guest, and I dropped out of the tour after 1.5 hours.

Thank you for your review. We’d like to clarify a few points for future guests.
First, our meeting point is a well-defined and visible location, clearly labeled on Viator with a map and a photo. Finding each other posed no issues, and in fact, we started the tour ten minutes early to accommodate your prompt arrival. You mention you were asked to meet by the statue, which provided specific directions, but then stated that you did not receive specific instructions—an apparent contradiction.
From the outset, however, you expressed dissatisfaction toward the guide, including unkind remarks that would typically justify ending a tour immediately. Nevertheless, our guide continued professionally, as we strive to provide an excellent experience.
This tour emphasizes a spiritual and historical theme, as noted in the title “Fallen Angels”, and includes visits to sacred sites. Respectfully, we also uphold dress codes for these locations, which includes removing hats as a sign of respect. These rules are not discretionary but are enforced by the venues themselves to preserve their cultural and spiritual significance. Your reluctance to comply with these requirements caused additional tension, which we hope future guests understand is necessary when visiting these sacred places.
Additionally, the guide checks their watch periodically to ensure that we stay on track with the itinerary. This is crucial to maintain the perfect flow of the tour, align with opening times, and ensure we don’t miss any of the special events included in the experience.
It’s worth noting that your review focuses on the guide rather than the quality of the tour or its content. Rather than mention any details of the explanations, insights, or highlights shared, you instead put a negative spin on the fact that you had a private tour—an exclusive experience rarely offered in Rome for this price.
Given the disrespect shown to our guide, we ask that you refrain from booking with us in the future. We’re committed to providing an enjoyable and respectful experience for all, and we ask for the same respect in return.
Warm regards

Roberto is an excellent guide with a huge breadth of knowledge and information.
The tour introduces you to some hidden gems in Rome as we as the more well known places. Would highly recommend the tour and Roberto.

Thank you for the review! Glad you liked the tour.

Roberto was an excellent tour guide! He was actually THE BEST tour guide we had throughout our entire stay of 4 days in Rome. I would highly recommend Viator and Roberto. He gave us a very comprehensive tour - 11 miles from our hotel through the city. He was very knowledgeable, easy to understand and showed us places we would have never found on our own! Roberto also had a lot of enthusiasm, was open to questions and discussion. Our group of 4 rated this tour as a 5+ Star Tour!

Hi to all. First of all, I want to say that there was a big problem from the very beginning. We did not find the guide at the indicated address, although we arrived early. Since we did not have internet on our phone, we could not contact the tour operator. We had to return to the hotel, we wrote to the operator and within 10 minutes he called us and indicated the exact meeting place. Roberto turned out to be a polite young man who gave a great tour, overall we are satisfied. It's a pity that we lost 30 minutes of our time due to the inaccuracy of the specified meeting place and a lot of nerves, because it's a pity that every minute is wasted in such a majestic city. Thank you Roberto for the pleasant communication in English and your delicacy and smile.

A memorable, well-orchestrated experience led by Roberto. His knowledge of Roman and church history is extensive. We learned a great deal and now have a better foundation for future visits to Rome. So many beautiful sites … but the grand finale was Church of the Gesu.

For active adults, this is an amazing way to see the city. Knowledgeable and friendly guide. We loved the walking tour!

Each time I am in Rome I concentrate on certain attractions; this time I decided to pay more attention to not so well known fountains and churches. There are more than 2000 fountains in Rome and needless to say, I cannot see that many... Seeing fountains without a guide was not good enough because I missed lots of highlights and it was due to lack of knowledge. So, this time I decided to book an organized tour "Fountains and Fallen Angels" which took place on January 28, 2020. It was memorable, unique, new to me. This particular guided tour was informative.
My guide was Roberto who was well prepared, detail oriented and for me it was very important - it was a learning experience. Roberto's tour (itinerary) is well designed and certainly off the beaten path. This tour is not formal, in a way quite unique; it lasts approximately 3 1/2 hours. I recommend to book Roberto's tour ("Fountains and Fallen Angels") because it is not standard or routine.

Interesante visita, que te lleva a lugares no tan turísticos, pero igualmente interesantes de Roma. Las visitas al pequeño oratorio de San Ignacio de Loyola y la Iglesia de los 12 Apostoles, me sorprendieron muy gratamente.
