We were very well looked after throughout the day by Meliss and our excellent driver and had a very enjoyable day and a lovely lunch and a nice coffee break at a scenic lakeside restaurant. We were on a cruise and this was an amazing excursion for the day. Really affordable and stunning. Food delicious. Staff is what made it memorable everyone was SO nice. Refreshing to have something affordable coming off of a cruise ship. But easily could have been 5x the price and worth it!

Enjoyable trip Our guide Derya Caliskan is very knowledgeable. We booked this tour because of the history & no mention of carpet jewelry stops. However ... We ended up having one. Did enjoy seeing how a rug is made & the spinning of silk. Did not like being taken into a room for sales pitch to buy. Just tell your tour guide you don't want the carpet stop to give you more time at the castle. Unfortunately we arrived on a Wednesday & the bazzar is only on Tuesday or Saturday. We really wanted to experience the turkieye bazzar.

Don’t miss this opportunity!

Perfect day! Can’t imagine a better way to spend time in Bodrum. It was definitely a highlight of our trip. The market was very interesting and enjoyed learning some new produce and the stop in the spice shop was a treat! The drive to the winery where the cooking class was held was itself a beautiful way to see some of the area outside of town. The winery and restaurant was stunning. We had a beautiful shaded area outside where the restaurant’s chef gave us a very personal lesson while we helped prepare several fresh vegetable dishes and a phyllo dish with meat and one with cheese. She offered so much information about the ingredients and the culture as she explained and showed us how she prepares the meal. After it was finished cooking, we all happily enjoyed the beautiful and delicious dishes as a full meal including different wines from their collection. It was incredible! This is a one of a kind location and opportunity to spend time with a very talented and knowledgeable chef on local foods and cuisine who really gives you an insight into the culture of the area.

We cruised along stunning coast stopping at crystal-clear bays. We could swim but the water was very chilly. Lunch on board featured fresh ingredients and pan fried sea bass that far exceeded expectations.
