Greece to Samaria Gorge

Grasp the chance to see the mighty White Mountains of Crete on this private tour. Our professional historian shows you the highest peaks of our island, as we pass through a gorge of impeccable beauty. We learn the history of Crete, as we continue ascending reaching an elevation of 1600 meters. We then pay a visit to the entrance of Samaria Gorge, one of the biggest and most beautiful hiking trails in Europe, as well as we make multiple photo stops for unforgettable memories and in order to understand the scale of our region. We finish this full day private tour on a one-of-a-kind traditional Cretan tavern, where we meet local villagers and we eat for free whatever is available on today's menu on this local tavern owned by a family of shepherds.
