Best part of the trip!!

This tour was the absolute highlight of our trip to Italy!! Our tour leader, Hillaria ,was amazing in every way. She was so accommodating to the older guests, and extremely knowledgeable about Florence and its history. The food and wine were delicious!! Couldn’t recommend this tour more!!!!

Mirella lavoro fantastico

Mirella did a fantastic job leading our small group of 9 through the Ufizzi Gallery. She shared the history and artist info of statues and art works throughout. I'm a slow walker and need to sit about every 30 minutes. I appreciated her slow pace and her attention to check that I was keeping up. The things we saw on the tour were magnificent. The history behind the masterpieces shared by Mirella made them even more impressive. The duration of the tour was just perfect too. Afterwards we stopped in Palazzo Vechio for pizza and a beverage for lunch. Perfezione!

Take a Walk on the Dark Side 🌑

Learned a lot of interesting and macabre history of Florence that left my spine tingling! One of the places that was highlighted was the museum of the Innocents, a the former children's hospital which I ended up visiting the next day. Nice to get something different and also appreciated our guide's sense of humor. I would highly recommend this tour to experience the horror for yourself 😱

Our guide Manuel lead our small group of four through the history of Florence. We learned about the street corner names and shields. There is much history behind the construction of Florence. We learned about the towers, families and balconies. I get tired easy when walking at a quick pace. Manuel helped me by slowing the pace and finding me a seat when I needed to sit. Great job Manuel. One of the best walking tours ever!

I'd read the glowing reviews for this walking tour of Florence, and after going on it with Riccardo, I can say it exceeded every expectation. Riccardo was incredibly knowledgeable and had a gift for explaining the city's history in a way everyone in our group could follow. His wit and humor kept us engaged for the full two and a half hours. We all came away understanding the historical significance of Florence's buildings, their architecture, and how they reflect the era in which they were built, in a way you simply couldn't get from reading about them on your own. If you're visiting Florence, don't miss this tour. Highly recommended!

Great Experience!

We had an absolutely wonderful experience touring the Uffizi Gallery and seeing Michelangelo’s David at the Accademia in Florence with our amazing guide, Brenda! She was incredibly knowledgeable, personable, and engaging, bringing the art and history of Florence to life through fascinating historical details and intimate stories that we would never have discovered on our own. What truly set Brenda apart was her grace under pressure. When things didn’t go quite as expected, she remained calm, composed, and professional, ensuring that our experience was still exceptional. Her passion for art and history, combined with her warm personality and wonderful storytelling, made this tour one of the highlights of our time in Florence. We thoroughly enjoyed every minute and cannot recommend Brenda and this tour highly enough! If you have the opportunity to tour Florence with Brenda, don’t miss it!

Brilliant tour. We went on our first full day in Florence; Alberto was engaging and we learned about the Medicis and the history of Florence and its’ palaces, churches and the Duomo. He recommended a book for further reading and helpful tips about things to do and places to eat.

Outstanding food walking tour! 100% recommended!

Valerie made this tour! We did the Tasty Florence Street Food walk last night and she was amazing! She has so much energy and it never felt like a script. She really knows Florence. the streets, the restaurants, and the people. It honestly seemed like she knew nearly everyone in town. She’d walk us into a place, greet the owner like an old friend, and then tell us the story behind what we were eating: where the dish came from, why Florentines make it that way, a little history mixed in with the food. That’s what made it more than just a string of tastings. The food was excellent and the walking was a great way to see the city at the same time. We left full, happy, and with a much better sense of Florence than we would have gotten on our own. I f you book this tour, hope you get Valerie. We would do it again in a heartbeat and we’d tell anyone visiting Florence to take it.

A highlight of our Florence trip!

A highlight of our entire trip. Jessica really brought Renaissance history to life for us - the context she provided for the art, buildings and landmarks we saw deepened our understanding and appreciation enormously. Knowledgeable, engaging, and passionate, she provided a wonderful introduction to Florence. My husband and I both agreed it was one of the best things we did on our trip. Waking your of Florence

I could not recommend this tour more but I think we may have gotten extra lucky with our guide who was beyond spectacular in knowledge, keeping us engaged every moment, leading us to shade and just a wealth of information, engaging, fascinating even my 14 year old was engaged in this heat! We were looking for tickets to see the David at The Acedemia and this tour started at The Uffizi Gallery. We had two different guides for each gallery and they were both super knowledgeable about the art. We liked that there was a break between the tours so we could shop and get lunch. One of my bucket list items!

Great Introduction to Florence!

Armando was an excellent story teller and guide! We did this tour right when we arrived in Florence and it was a great introduction to the historical center of town and helped us get comfortable with where to find everything. Armando gave a lot of great advice that was very useful. Highly recommend as an intro tour.
