Monica taught us how to make an authentic lasagna from an Italian Mamma. Monica was warm, friendly, kind, with amazing generosity. Monica is a true Italian. We had a party of five and there was an additional couple from the Netherlands. We laughed, Monica told stories. She has a beautiful home. Monica provided an interpreter who did an amazing job translating from Italian to English. We highly recommend this experience.

When booking this tour, you should request antobertolani! She made Lucca’s history come alive. Our group of four found her to be very knowledgeable and engaging. We wish we had another day with her. Great ebike tour

Great tour, very cool ride along the top of the city wall and into the farm country. Guide was great answering questions and making sure we were all together in traffic. Ebike makes the ride very doable for everyone. We even got a flat tire at the winery, a quick phone call and 10 minutes later a new bike was delivered. Beautiful sights along the wall and into the countryside going to the winery.

Fun wine tour

Simone was a wonderful tour guide. He is very knowledgeable about the region and shared as we drove. He also picked us up where we were staying, which made it so convenient. He chose two wineries which were in the vicinity of where we were staying. Colle di Bordocheo and La Torre wineries were both very welcoming and allowed us to take our time and ask questions. We would definitely do this tour again!

Hidden Gem and a must see!

Our guide Luca ( yes that was his name) was a local and excellent. He was proud to share the history. This little town is so beautiful. Family friendly. kids playing, moms walking babies in strollers and music on the side walk by local artist. The tour included a stop for wine and Aperitivo, then more riding and a stop for gelato. Luca knew all the local spots. After we walked around town and went in the church where it is said the have the real face of Jesus. It was under reconstruction but they had informative info on it.

This was truly one of the most special experiences we had during our stay in Italy. Francesca and Enrica have an absolutely incredible home that transports you back to the 19th century. Upon arrival, they immediately made us feel like we were a part of the family. Her hunting companion, Ares, stole our hearts and we could not have asked for a better adventure. The Collebrunacchi farm is rich with history, stories, and amore. This experience was so much more than just truffles. Afterwards, they both made us one of the most memorable and expertly crafted meals we have ever had. Truly an unforgettable experience!

Amazing Lucca food tour

Tizziana is as an amazing guide. (This maybe my second review, the first one did not seem to publish?) We were the only people on the food tour. Lucky us. Tizziana took her time giving us the history or Lucca. She mixed in lots of food information. We had Ravioli, salami, Celine traditional (made with chickpea flour- butter, wine cheese- all so good. Oh and the gelato. We learned only buy gelato that’s covered not sitting out for the original best.

Great experience

We loved this experience! Julia is a beautiful, genuine young lady who was absolutely lovely to be with. Since one of us is vegan, she treated us to an authentic Tuscan menu that was delicious. We cooked a chestnut cake, a tomato bread soup, and made noodles from scratch and ate them with sage infused olive oil! It was all so tasty and fresh. Julia also told us about food practices all over Italy and discussed the typical Italian family and their eating habits. Overall, a wonderful experience! Thank you. Julia!

A delicious way to spend an afternoon

Absolutely amazing experience at Tenuto Adamo Winery! The setting is breathtaking with gorgeous Tuscan scenery all around. The tour was very informative, and we learned a lot about their winemaking process. The wines were delicious, and the focaccia with their olive oil paired perfectly. We also really appreciated the courtesy transportation arrangement—it made everything so easy. Overall, an excellent experience that I’d highly recommend to anyone visiting Tuscany!

Bravo! Lovely trip.

Bravo! This was a wonderful relaxing afternoon away from busy Lucca. Tommuaso and Raffaele did the driving and shared so much information about the region and 2 family owned wineries and their processes. A delicious authentic lunch was provided in the middle of the vineyard and of course plenty of wine sampling through the day. Lovely views -- it was the highlight of our trip to Lucca!

Beautiful Day Touring Cinque Terre

The Cinque Terre tour was more than expected visiting 4 of the 5 Terre villages. The weather was perfect which allowed for ferry transport between villages. Our guide Luigi was fantastic and kept us on schedule even though we used shuttle bus, train and ferry service. Also hour out to Alessandro for keeping our bus travel comfortable and on time. It was a great day and very informative and beautiful.

Lots to see in a short...

Lots to see in a short period of time. Knowledgeable, flexible, friendly guide. Nice to have a motor coach drive you home after all the fun! We were able to see 4 of the 5 cities that make up Cinque Terra. We spent an appropriate amount of time in each location. The motor coach to La Spezia was pleasant as were the ferry rides and the final motor coach back was key. We were all exhausted by the end of the day and the driver took great care to get us home happily and safely. This tour was well planned and excuted - would definitely book again.
