2 country day trip - Denmark and Sweden

The tour is a long day on a coach with rather narrow seats, however the tour provides interesting information in relation to the various areas we passed through. There is ample time at each stop and the Traditional Swiss Meatballs cooked in whiskey at the Grand Hotel in Lund were very tasty. Malmo old town is beautiful as was the Kronborg Castle, Helsingborg. The drive up to Helsingborg was pretty and along the coast line. Our driver was very knowledgeable and helpful and there is an audio description along the way in 4 different languages. Overall, an enjoyable trip.

A Tour To Remember

We had an exceptional experience with Bob. We felt very welcomed and comfortable right from the start. Bob was a wealth of information about Denmark and the city of Copenhagen. He used this knowledge to give us a broader understanding as to how Copenhagen evolved and sustained itself through history and its current standing in this country and the world. Bob did not just share facts but put them in context of how this city and country evolved and sustains itself. We covered a wide range of topics from literacy rates, recycling, government, etc. So this journey with Bob was more like a story rather than just a presentation of facts. He is a very easy going guide and I enjoyed my time with him. I walked away with so much more knowledge as well as having a great human interaction. A very engaging and informative tour of the city. A great way of getting familiar with the history and culture of a city with long historical relevance. We could cover the old town squares, the regal structures and their relevance, a few of the harbours with stories about sailors from the past. Our guide helped us get familiar with the public transport system and renowned local eateries. We also tried a few of the local Danish dishes and were pleasantly surprised to realise that we could cover so much while the weather condition were pretty adverse. Just wish we could have gone into some of the buildings. Would have liked if it included the famous Nyhavn area. Overall very good. It was a 3 hr tour on foot. If you have a brief visit to Copenhagen this is the best way to spend the hour. The tours go regularly. We missed the 10am and staff moved us to 10:30 with no issues.
