Perfect day to walk through Copenhagen and Christiania. Our tour guide was very fun and entertaining. He didn't hold back. He was a wealth of information regarding an area that is rich in history and stories. Christiania is going through a huge transition (weed" is no longer sold on Pusher Street), and he provided all the details behind why. Guides aren't allowed in Christiania, but after the tour was over, he took a walk through the area while giving some food and beer recommendations. My only complaint was it was Caribbean night in Nemoland the day we were there. Nothing says Denmark like Caribbean night :) If you like to experience something a little different, this is the tour for you.

Not a tour of free people town

To be honest this tour is decieving. It’s called hippies and Christianshavn tour but you don’t actually get a tour of the free people town as it’s not allowed. If that’s what you’re looking for, this isn’t the tour for you.

Very interesting walking tour. Thor was a knowledgeable and entertaining guide. We learned a lot about history and culture in Copenhagen. Definitely budget more than one hour so you have time to explore the area afterward.

Excellent guide who explained a lot about Copenhagen in general and Christiania in particular in a fun and informative way. Majority of the tour took place on the way from the meeting point to Christiania so took in lots of interesting sights along the way including recommendations of places to visit, eat etc. The tour ended just as we entered Christiana. We were free to continue to explore inside on our own and Conrad recommended things to see and where to eat and drink.
