We meet inside Copenhagen Central Station, in the main hall, directly under the large round analog clock on the central pillar - next to the 7-Eleven and the ticket machines. Please arrive 10 minutes early, as we need to leave on time to catch the ferry.

We were disappointed that the directions for the meeting place for this tour were unclear, and we never found the tour leader. We did contact the company and they tried, unsuccessfully to connect us to the tour midway. The company was very apologetic and fully refunded our fare. Absolutely satisfied with how the situation was resolved.

It is an easy well paced walking tour. The guide pointed out many sights for us to visit later along with taking us around to many places. Guide was well informed and could answer our questions. He was loud enough for all to hear and not only knew history of places he was showing us but also Copenhagen history. If I had any complaint it was I would have liked to see inside a few places we just observed from the outside. I don’t believe it would have extended the tour by too much.

Great tour and tour guide Bo was so knowledgeable, so interesting, and a great sense of humor. He made the tour very enjoyable even though it started to rain. It was at the perfect pace and he answered any question he was asked with historical knowledge. A must do tour!

We really enjoyed our time strolling the town with Martin as our guide. He was very knowledgeable of the history and current events and we liked hearing some of his stories of growing up in Copenhagen. Martin even researched ways to tie our countries history together which was a thoughtful touch. His lunch recommendation was one of the best meals we had! I would recommend this tour on your 1st day in Copenhagen to get the lay of the town then go back to explore inside the museums, slots and other sites seen on the tour.

Great walking tour (and ferry ride on the canal) of Copenhagen. Our tour guide, Kris, was very knowledgeable and kind to answer all of the groups questions. The restaurant we ended the tour at in Nyhavn was wonderful-delightful setting in the back of the restaurant for our group, which we enjoyed conversation and laughter with. The food was delicious. This was the perfect way to start our visit to Copenhagen. We (myself, nephew and his girlfriend) highly recommend this tour. Hopefully, you are fortunate to have Kris as your tour guide!

I have done many excellent Viator tours but this one disappointed. So much so, that I would not hesitate to ask for my money back. The itinerary was well and good but the guide was not up to the standard I would expect for what we paid. His satchel read; "Support your local devil worship". I am a Christian and a pastor and found this deeply offensive.If you would like a phone conversation you can reach me at 630-697-6856. Otherwise, in this travel phase of our lives I will hesitate about using Viator.

Great way to see an overview of this gem of a city. We had several hours before our hotel room was available. We were exhausted from a long flight but really enjoyed the tour with Bo.

Tour was interesting and the tour guide Jacob added little known facts and has a vast knowledge about the culture, art, history and architecture of Copenhagen and Denmark. Eric who is training to be a guide was also very informative. I would strongly recommend the tour to others visiting the area.

Very fast pace walking. No stops for shopping. Tour guide so far in front of us we could not hear what he was saying. Poor directions given for meeting place.

We had a wonderful experience on the tour and would recommend it to anyone wanting a great introduction to the city.
The itinerary was thoughtfully planned and covered an impressive range of Copenhagen's highlights. We met at Copenhagen Central Station and visited Tivoli Gardens, the beautiful Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek, Christiansborg Palace, and the striking Black Diamond library. The canal portion of the tour was a real highlight, offering fantastic views of the Copenhagen Opera House, Nyhavn, and the historic Børsen.
The tour continued with visits to many of the city's most iconic landmarks, including The Little Mermaid, Gefion Fountain, Kastellet, Churchill Park, Kastelsmøllen, and the magnificent Marble Church (Frederiks Kirke). Seeing such a wide variety of historic, cultural, and architectural sites in a single tour gave us a wonderful appreciation for Copenhagen and its history.
What truly made the experience exceptional, however, was our guide, Jacob. From the moment the tour began, he was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and approachable. His positive attitude set the tone for the entire experience and made everyone feel comfortable and engaged.
Jacob's storytelling was outstanding. Rather than simply reciting facts, he shared stories and historical context that brought each location to life. His explanations were clear, entertaining, and perfectly paced, helping us understand not just what we were seeing, but why each place is important to Copenhagen's history and culture. Whether discussing royal history at Christiansborg, the legends behind Gefion Fountain, or the significance of Kastellet and Churchill Park, his stories made every stop memorable.
The combination of a well-designed itinerary, beautiful canal cruise, and Jacob's excellent guiding made this one of the best city tours we have taken. If you're visiting Copenhagen and want an informative, enjoyable, and welcoming introduction to the city, this tour is an excellent choice. Highly recommended!

This tour was such a marvelous trip through history, Viking lore and a highlights of Copenhagen. Don’t miss the canal tour, it’s quite spectacular. Our guide, Jacob , was a gem, sweet and soft spoken, a concert pianist by trade. He freely shared stories about history, his family and country. His love of all things Denmark is evident and infectious. As good as the tour was, Jacob’s company made even more special.

We thoroughly enjoyed this tour and would highly recommend it. Our guide was engaging, knowledgeable, and did a fantastic job bringing Copenhagen’s history to life. We especially appreciated how patient he was with our son, who asked plenty of random questions throughout the tour!

This was an enjoyable tour around Copenhagen, although personally I felt it was a little disjointed in terms of just seeing things rather than providing a narrative about the city and its history. We stopped for coffee very near the end. That would have been better maybe halfway through the tour just to provide a little break in the walking. Overall a good tour though and a good way to see some of the major sights of the city.

We appreciate your comments regarding the tour structure and the timing of the coffee break. The reason we place the coffee stop near the end of the tour is that the experience concludes at Amalienborg, where many guests choose to stay and watch the Changing of the Guard ceremony. Depending on the day, the ceremony can last up to 45 minutes, so the break is scheduled beforehand to give everyone a chance to rest, grab a coffee, and be ready for the final chapter of the tour.
