Experiencing Estonia with all senses
I thoroughly enjoyed this tour - probably more than I thought I would. The highlights for me were sitting by the lake behind the manor house and the walk through the bog and sampling the wild blueberries. The pictures don't do it justice - you need to be there to fully appreciate it. Suffice it to say, if you're looking for somewhere away from hoards of tourists where your soul can breathe, this may be up your alley. Our guide, Marielle (sorry if the spelling is wrong!) was also a pleasure to chat with and was very knowledgeable about all the areas we visited. All in all, the trip proved to be good value for money and I would recommend all nature-lovers to make it a part of their itinerary.

Great tour, Outstanding tour guide
Great City, Great Tour, Great Tour Guide. Peter was and excellent guide. His knowledge of the area was wonderful. He has a very pleasant and "customer service oriented" personality and it was a true pleasure spending the day with Peter. I highly recommend this tour and hope you are fortunate enough to get Peter as your Guide.

Faboulous food tour
We had a fabulous time with our food tour with Svetlana! She took us took a authentic Estonian restaurant to try out soup, or an authentic Estonian cafe for an appetizer plate, with multiple stops at stores and shops along way! At end she provided a souvenir liquor from Tallinn and a map and information on how to get around, a great time thank you!

Great fun making delicious Estonian food!
My daughter and I love cooking and fancied trying an evening of Estonian cooking. So glad we did! We had great fun, learned a lot about Estonian food and culture, made some really delicious food, and got to eat it together with a lovely group of fellow food enthusiasts. Highly recommend this activity but make sure you arrive hungry as there is a LOT of food. We plan to make some of the dishes for our family and friends back home in Luxembourg. Thank you!

Great Way to go from Tallinn to Riga
This is a terrific way to get from Tallinn to Riga and experience a few visits while en route. Karlis, our driver, did a great job explaining the sites and showing us where to go. He answered our questions about Estonia and Latvia and was a very safe driver. His English was excellent.

Really enjoyed this...
Really enjoyed this 3-hour tour. Our guide was terrific and was able to share some unique insights at some stops based on his own military service in Estonia. Highly recommend this to anyone wanting to learn more about the history of Estonia as well as details about Old Town Tallinn and the nearby areas.

Great tour
Our guide Helen (not the Estonian pronunciation) is terrific. She knows Old Town like the back of her hand. She’s funny, entertaining and made our tour a delight. She kept us moving at a decent pace so we saw a lot but did not feel rushed. I highly recommend this tour.

GREAT Tour!! Worth it!
Tarmo, our guide, was awesome. He walked us ALL around Old Town—upper and lower. We walked over 7 miles in 5 hours, with one break for snacks and drinks. Tarmo is a native of Estonia. We have noticed recently that more and more tour guides in Europe are not natives of the cities that they are touring you through, but rather have lived there for four or five years. While they can still give a great tour, they cannot match the experiences and insights of a true native. By the end of the tour, we were already to move to Estonia. Who knew? 😉

Great walking tour of Tallinn
Our guide, Herman, was fantastic. He shared so much information about Estonian history and culture, as we walked through the various areas of Tallinn, including the seaport, upper old town, and lower old town. It was a really great experience and I highly recommend this tour. Do it upon your arrival in Tallinn, and you will have an overview that will allow you to self-guide the rest of your visit.

Stunning Estonian landscapes
My 15 year old daughter and I, together with four other tourists from various countries, had a very interesting day with our fantastic and knowledgeable guide, Sirli. She brought us to the Jagala waterfall (make sure to wear a waterproof jacket and good walking shoes or boots so you can go behind the waterfall, which is really fun) and a nearby suspension bridge which touched the immaculately still water below in the middle, as well as the Lahemaa national park where the landscape was unlike anything we had ever seen, and after the 45 minutes or so of walking the boardwalk through wetlands, we hopped back in the minibus and went for a traditional Estonian lunch in a fantastic thatched restaurant (very good portions and very reasonable prices). The second part of the day (which was long, so be prepared to be very tired on the way back...most of our group fell asleep on the return journey!) was spent touring the grounds of a beautiful manor house (where we moved quite a few tiny frogs off the path...to save them from a somewhat flatter future!), and then the last stop was in a really quaint traditional fishing village, where we also got to try out the huge wooden standing see-saw swing, (which is big enough for six adults and used to serve as a meeting place and was the highlight of the social calendar for local villagers, even bringing together courting couples) which was great fun. Highly recommend this tour, to get out of the city, see the stunning landscape and vegetation and learn about some of the history, nature and culture of Estonia, as well as tasting some local cuisine. Thank you, Sirli!

Max is the best!
Max was an amazing guide. His English is excellent. Far better than so many others I've heard. He was entertaining and not boring with good stories. He has a lot of knowledge. People liked him so much they were giving him big tips at the end. Five stars!

The best way to not only...
The best way to not only see but get to know Tallin, but think twice if you’re not used to cycling with a regular good bike without battery. Our guide (don’t remember his name but his mom was Russian) gave us a very good picture of Tallin and the Estonian history and of course we saw Tallin
