My family and I had a wonderfull time. Your guides, Candy Beijing and Tracy Xian, were extremely knowledgeable and helpful. One of my daughters became sick and needed to go the the hospital. One of the greatest 8 days of my life! It was a pleasure to discover China's rich culture, observe the locals, and learn about the historical places. I was sad to see it end. The hustle and bustle of Beijing was exhilarating. Walking through the Forbidden City and Tienanmen Square was surreal, and climbing the Great Wall was truly one of my life's greatest pleasures. The Summer Palace was also a great hit, and warriors of Xi'an were just beyond amazing! Shanghai was great too albeit my least favorite stop. This was a very active tour - lots of walking and climbing and standing around. We went in late October, early November - supposed off season - but the Wall was still congested with tourists. The meals provided in the trip were excellent and our tour guides Sara in Beijing and Jacky in Xi'an were so efficient and helpful in making the stops worthwhile. Jacky even squeezed in a foot massage trip for some of us in Xi'an which was a welcome relief from all the walking. The only minor comment I have is the location of the hotel in Beijing. It was a little bit out of the way, unlike the hotel in Shanghai which was accessible by subway in case you wanted to venture out. All in all a great trip. I would recommend for anyone looking for a guided trip through China!
