Regene Li was fantastic! I had a bit of confusion finding the meeting spot, my suggestion would be to find a specific store rather than the MRT Station. (But that was my falut) Once we connected, it was a great tram ride, and walk through the fin district and historic streets to a temple. Once there Regene explained all of the symbolisms and more! From there we walked to the Star Ferry and went to one of the islands. We rounded out the day with a visit to a typical multi-level market were fish, meat and vegetables were being sold. Would definitely do this again! (Especially with Regene's suggestions for my next visit.)

Experiencing the Big Buddha in Hong Kong is a must do. It was a rainy day but that made it even more special. Being able to walk the streets of the fisherman village and trying a traditional lunch was the cherry on top of a perfect day. Our private tour included moving in taxis and the bus with the locals which was also a treat to experience a slice on their everyday life. The most important component of our day was out guide.
