Incredibly welcoming Captain and crew on Mirimar II set you up for a great day with an informed and relaxed cruise up the Brisbane river to the Koala sanctuary. Once there, all the animals are completely visible (no searching required!) and the sanctuary staff are open and willing to share their knowledge. Really enjoyable experience.

Staff was great! There to help but not in a smothering type way. Lunch was very fresh and there was plenty to go around! Diego was great very friendly, the bus driver Jon was superb as well and had a 10 out of 10 music playlist to jam to. Our 4 wheel tour driver was fantastic great driver considering the terain. I would highly recommend a little pricy, however a large portion of this goes to the fairy and park admission. Considering this fuel cost, free lunch, and equipment to use a very fair price. Thanks for a great time!!!

Great experience!

I highly recommend using this tour to visit the zoo. I wanted to see the zoo but was nervous as a solo traveler, this was a safe way to get to and from efficiently and see some sights along the way. The couple who ran the tour were extremely communicative, informative, and helpful and gave great instructions to see the zoo in the most efficient way possible. Definitely recommend using this if you want to see the zoo!

Saw tons of amazing fish, even a Dory, also an eel, and a ray. Food was good. All equipment included including a wet suit. Our guide Nicole was incredible. She went above and beyond helping in the water, has an amazing personality, very knowledgeable, and takes care of you like you are family!! Highly recommend!!

The glow worm cave was...

The glow worm cave was just ok - not that many glow worms inside a very small compact cave for 30 minutes. I’m glad I saw them but been there done that. The quick photo stops @ the botanical garden for the fountains and plants were great and the hang glide area had amazing views of the mountain ranges. Good call by Mel our driver to head over there before the rainfall and before heading to Tamborine mountain. Definitely check out the Skywalk and be among the canopy of the tall trees and creeks below. Even though I was drenched from walking to Curtis falls due to the rain, it was refreshing to smell the wetness of nature around. After a nice lunch break, Terry our driver at Tambourine mountain took us to St. Bernard Hotel to see the cute St. Bernard dogs and another majestic view of the Gold Coast. Driving back to Brisbane, Mel took a detour to some country roads to watch several kangaroos lurking around the grassy areas. The “Roos” usually come out of the woods during the rain per Mel. It was a long day but well worth the time and value for your money.

Amazing Island Tour Wildlife and the Beach

We had a great day exploring Stradbroke Island with our guide Jack. Starting with picking us up at a central Hotel and taking the ferry ride to the island. We took a trail around the the highest points with awesome views and flora and fauna. We then had lunch at our choice of great island restaurants. Then spent the afternoon at the beach. There were 11 people in the group from UK, USA, Italy, Switzerland and Australia. We all got along and had a great time. Jack was courteous, knowledgeable, and entertaining his smile was infectious and made the trip memorable. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone. 10/10

Beautiful nature tour that exceeded our expectations!

This was the small-group tour that exceeded our expectations! Our guide, Rio, was excellent. He picked us up in the city and took us in a comfortable van to the ferry terminal in Cleveland. Once there, we boarded the ferry for a quick 25-minute trip out to Stradbroke Island. When we arrived, Rio brought us to an identical van that he then used to show us many of the highlights (including some of his favorite “hidden” spots) of the island. We had an entire Australia experience in just one day, as we had the chance to enjoy multiple beautiful beaches, walk along some great nature trails, see koalas, kangaroos and turtles and explore the area. We had plenty of time at each stop, and never felt hurried. When the day was over, Rio brought us back to the ferry terminal for a quick ferry ride back to Cleveland, and then back to our city drop-off point. We would highly recommend this tour, guide and company! Extra bonus: Rio has a great playlist for our drive time in the vans.

Lovely day out for family

Had a lovely day out with the family. Our nieces son really enjoyed feeing the kangaroos and seeing the farm animals It was also great to be able to feed the cockatiels and, later on, the sheep. William really enjoyed meeting the farm animals as well. It was good to see the koalas, flying foxes, reptiles, crocodiles……etc It was interesting to listen in on the crocodile talk and see the raptor display. Very enjoyable day out and will definitely come again. Was last here 25 years ago!

Relaxed and fun!

Dominic checked me in and helped with “suiting up”. She cracked some good jokes and made everyone feel more at ease. Abbie, our guide was a total ROCKSTAR… from start to finish- Safety, professional and fun. Some bicyclists were getting TOO close to our group as we were entering the bridge…she turned into “mama bear” 🐻 and went into protection mode. I don’t think the bicyclist expected that shoulder throw…but hey…she kept us safe. Seriously though, she kept us safe. No bicyclists were hurt during our climb… or were they 🤨. The views were amazing, the stories and education of the area were top shelf and ABBIE was a professional rock star! Great pictures!

That the historical...

That the historical commentary was very informative and interesting. The weather can mean it can be very windy on the river. I would have liked more detailed information on how to find the Pontoon. I did not see any public signage and had to ask for directions, which were not accurate. I nearly missed the cruise.

Lots of wildlife

Very knowledgeable guide. We had a beautiful day in the rainforest, with easy hikes and the guide pointed out lots of animals. We saw Koalas in the wild, kangaroos and wallabies. Lizards and birds. He knew exactly where to look and to go. Highly recommended.

A must do when in Brisbane

A unforgettable day out with Brisbane Whale Watching. We saw a mother and her calf numerous times and we even got to see a juvenile male breach out of the water several times. In addition to this we saw turtles and dolphins. The food was excellent and catered to an allergy in the group with an alternative. Couldn’t recommend this trip enough and a must do when in the area.
