A day in Bayeux

Our guide Emanuel picked my husband and I up at our hotel. We were able to see Gold and Juno beaches, tour the museum, enjoy a seafood lunch and pay respects to the many young men who gave their lives to fight for our freedom and rights. Emanuel was very knowledgeable about the history of WWII. I give five stars to Emanuel and the tour he provided.

Truly a once in a lifetime experience for my dad and me

Holy smokes this was awesome!! Theo did a truly PHENOMENAL job being our guide. He is very knowledgeable and could answer every question my dad and I asked. Theo is also very personable which made for super easy and fun conversations. This trip and Theo made my time in France with my dad, honestly, one of the best times of our lives. An amazing day spent touring some important D-Day sites in Normandy. Our guide Audrey was great. She picked us up in a comfortable van in the morning at our AirBNB and spent more than 8 hours with us, providing us with plenty of time at each of the locations we visited. She was kind and knowledgable, and the fact that she grew up nearby helped inform her perspective and provided an even stronger connection to the experience.

Our 1½-day D-Day tour was one of the highlights of our trip to France. We visited the American Cemetery, Pointe du Hoc, and Omaha Beach, and every stop was both moving and unforgettable. Victor was an outstanding guide—extremely knowledgeable, engaging, and clearly passionate about the history he was sharing. As a lifelong history buff, visiting Normandy has been on my bucket list since I was in high school back in the late 1970s. After all those years, having that dream finally come true exceeded every expectation. Standing on Omaha Beach and walking the cliffs at Pointe du Hoc where the U.S. Army Rangers scaled the cliffs brought history to life in a way no book or documentary ever could. Visiting the American Cemetery was an emotional experience that I'll never forget. Victor's storytelling, historical insight, and ability to connect the events of June 6, 1944, with the places we were standing made the experience incredibly informative and memorable. Rangers Lead the Way! If you're considering a Normandy tour, don't hesitate. It was worth every minute and every penny, and Victor helped make a lifelong dream a reality.

If you're planning a trip to Normandy, don't see it any other way than with Normandy Riders. This was, without question, the best tour of our entire trip. Manuel and Jerry were absolutely amazing tour guides. They were incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and passionate about the history, bringing each stop to life in a way that was both meaningful and unforgettable. They also made our entire family, especially our kids, feel completely safe and comfortable throughout the day, allowing us to relax and truly enjoy the experience. Seeing the D-Day sites this way gave us a perspective we never could have experienced on our own. The half day tour included 3 stops and they were incredible. Our tour guide, Lucy, not only had beautiful, long fingernails and could park on a dime, but she was so pleasant and knowledgeable!! We really enjoyed her presentation (it was like she had years of theatrical training 😉)! Seriously, she was a sweetheart! The sights were AMAZING!!! The tour gave us a new level of appreciation for what took place here all those years ago. Thank you to all the soldiers.

This day was an amazing experience, it was so well organized and our guide Mathieu was extremely knowledgeable and kept us interested all day. He was personable and shared so much, answered questions, provided stories about events as well as facts . He was willing to expand on areas our group had the most interest in. He joined us at our table for lunch and that was wonderful, most guides have not in my experience but we found it to be a great personal touch. Our day of exploration of the D day events , beaches and the visit and impact of the American Cemetery was even more than we expected it could be.
