Theo was our guide for...

Theo was our guide for this tour. There were six people in our van (plus Theo), which was very comfortable seating. Theo spoke very well- loud enough, distinct, and in good/understandable English. Theo really knew his history of WWII, and explained it all very well. He drove us straight away to Pont du Hoc, then the American Cemetery, and finally, Omaha Beach. We walked around each place on our own, with agreed meeting spots at a certain time. As a bonus, we drove past a British Cemetery on our way back to the meeting spot. Veery good tour- highly recommend it.

This tour left from Bayeux, so it was about a 1.5hr drive thru beautiful Normandy. We had a small group (5). Elise was a great guide and very knowledgeable. I have some mobility issues and knew I would struggle with the climbing. Elise was so thoughtful about my needs. In the end I sent her and the rest of the group ahead. I did what I could but I was very pleased with this tour.

Our guide Sam was amazing. My husband knows all the history of Normandy and the time period but I was worried about how little I know. Sam was great at narrating the time period and getting us up to speed as we went to all the sites. He even added a bathroom/coffee stop on the way and a souvenir stop at the end. It was everything we needed. They were great at sending communication ahead of time so we knew right where to go.

Our group of 12 Seniors along with others on the bus met Martin at Croisiere Bateaux Parisiens. Martin nicknamed us the Boston 12. After the Seine River Cruise, we bussed over to the Eiffel Tower. Excellent picture taking. Then we went by bus to the Arc de Triomphe via Av. des Champs-Elysees. We ate and shopped. Then we walked underneath the Arc de Triomphe to reach the bus. Martin provided us with Champagne on the bus before he left us. Martin was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, personable, amusing entertaining tour guide from Amsterdam.
