It was a perfect 6 hour trip to see the city of Vancouver and the beautiful outskirts. Our driver/ guide ANDREA was most knowledgeable, helpful and thorough. A perfect and accommodating guide indeed. Highly recommend this tour. Capilano was a big highlight.

We had such a wonderful experience on this tour and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Vancouver! It was comfortable, incredibly well organized, and I felt like we had exactly the right amount of time at every stop. Nothing felt rushed, but we also packed so much into the day. It was the perfect way to experience some of the highlights of Vancouver in a relatively short amount of time.
Our guide, Anthony, was absolutely fantastic! He was incredibly knowledgeable and kept us engaged throughout the entire tour with interesting information and stories about Vancouver. You could really tell how much he loves the city and how proud he is to share it with visitors. His enthusiasm was contagious, and he was friendly, personable, and chatty throughout the day. He truly added so much to the experience and was an excellent guide.
Capilano Suspension Bridge was probably my favorite stop. I loved having the opportunity to experience something so adventurous and beautiful just outside the city. Between the suspension bridge, Treetops Adventure, Cliffwalk, and the gorgeous surroundings, there was something for everyone, and we had plenty of time to explore.
Granville Island was another treat. I loved that we had enough time to walk around, browse the shops and market, and grab a bite to eat without feeling rushed.
Overall, I thought the timing of the entire tour was excellent. Each stop felt proportionate to what there was to see and do, the transportation was comfortable, and Anthony made the time spent traveling between stops interesting as well. If you have a half day in Vancouver and want to see a lot without having to plan all the logistics yourself, this is an experience you don’t want to skip. Absolutely five stars!

A staggered Pick up time from hotels should be planned/announced. Buses cannot get everyone from every hotel at the same time!!

We chose the door to door service and had an amazing time on this tour. From being picked up at our hotel to the tour itself, the staff were knowledgeable and friendly. They made it easy to visit each site and give instructions on the best way to navigate each stop. We didn’t feel rushed at all, the amount of time at each place was well thought out. We enjoyed the facts about the area and felt like we know a lot more about the area now.
The Capilano bridge area was the highlight of our trip, even with my mild fear of heights.

Was a good tour and great for someone with only a short time to visit Vancouver. Also great as an introduction to a longer trip. We were picked up at our hotel and dropped off one street away

This tour consisted of driving around a busy city on a big bus. There were 3 stops- the first was a restroom stop, Capillano Park was the second, and Granville Island which was a lot like Coney Island - lots of tourists, and food options. Stanley Park and Capillano Bridge Park are not to be missed.
HOWEVER, the biggest problem we had was that we were meeting my sister and her husband who had signed up for the same tour, but we ended up on two different buses. There was no option when signing up for the tour to indicate that we would like to be with a specific party.
Herman, our tour guide, did everything possible to reunite us. All the guides were very professional and helpful.
It was also difficult to contact anyone at Viator to determine where we were supposed to meet at The Canada Place Welcome Center as our instructions were to meet at WHITE Canada Place Welcome Center. The Welcome Center was a small kiosk and was painted white. The tour was led by Westwood Ocean tours. Nowhere was VIATOR visible. Canada Place is huge with a lot of people. The entire experience was extremely frustrating.

We traveled with friends to celebrate our anniversaries. Herman & the suspension bridge were a great part of our trip! Herman was committed to the day with us and made each part of the trip meaningful. We have never been to Vancouver before so his understanding of the area was helpful. We had a great day in each area we visited. We saw a bit of Stanley Park. The time at the suspension bridge was just right. And ended the day in the arts district and had a great meal. So glad we booked it early in our trip. The tour gave us just what we needed to really understand and enjoy the city.

Timing is approximate for all the activities. We were disappointed that because of traffic from the Pride Celebration our tour of the city was truncated - we didn’t see Gastown at all and our visits at Stanley park and Capilano park were cut short. The driver was very sensitive to the timing needs of passengers to get to the airport or hotels on time.

Waiting and more waiting… couldn’t see anything from the bus. Group too large and bus too big. Was very disappointed. Never enough time at the places. Andrea, our guide and driver did a good job.

Excursion was just okay. Our driver Greg was nice enough but kept saying “over here is so and so”. He never said on the left or on the right. I couldn’t see him and he was pointing only. I prefer him have both hands on the steering wheel. Numerous times he’d say something was two thumbs up and take both hands off the wheel doing two thumbs up! There was so much traffic. When we were in China Town he was pointing out good places to eat and in the next sentence he is telling us don’t go one block up as there are lots of homeless and drug addicted people and Vancouver has a problem with fentanyl and pointed out an ambulance and even pointed out for us to look down an alley to see these homeless people.
The tour should skip that area.

The tour guide was exceptionally knowledgeable about the local neighborhoods we traveled through. Our tour happened to take place on the same day the FIFA Canada soccer game was going on and our guide was able to navigate the MANY closed roads to still get us to all of the destinations without delay. KUDOS!!!

If you’re looking to squeeze in as much as you can in one tour, this one is fabulous. My only suggestion would be to cut back the amount of time at the Granville Island markets.

Joanne was a wonderful tour guide and bus driver! She was informative and very calm driving around a busy city. We really like the stops and opportunities to get off the bus and look around and take pictures.

Most of the trip was good. Our bus broke down while at the bridge and we had to wait an hour for the mechanic to get there. Got back on the road and was told she was cutting the tour short and going straight to Granville Island. We got there late in the day and there wasn't anything to do. We had a bag of souvenirs from previous stops. The driver stated she was going to take some passengers to the airport and would be back and said we could leave our items on the seat. However, she didn't come back. Instead, she sent another bus - without our souvenirs. She assured the new driver she would get our items to our hotel. She didn't do that, instead stated we were told we needed to go get them. We didn't stay in the city and it was very costly for us to get back there. We called and talked with a supervisor, who agreed to split the cost to ship the pkg (pretty small, would not have cost much). I gave all my information to the customer service rep. We have been home almost 2 weeks and have not received our package. We are very disappointed in the whole experience. Will be very hesitant to use Viator in the future.
