Itinerary
The jaunty blue-and-white False Creek ferries sail to nine stops around Vancouver's Inner Harbour. With ferries checking in at each dock every five to 15 minutes, exploring at your own pace is a breeze, and it's never a long wait for the next boat.
Aboard this year-round working ferry, the operators are often full of interesting anecdotes about the geography and history of 'The Creek.' You can be sure of an eclectic mix of both passengers and crew, as the service is used by local commuters, market workers, students and tourists in equal numbers. For sightseers, the ferries offer a unique ride with beautiful views of local scenery. Remember to watch for seals!
An all-day ferry pass is an ideal way way to get to all the attractions around Vancouver Harbour. Vouchers purchased online can be redeemed on the dock from the ferry crew. See below for a list and description of ferry stops.

We spent the morning of our last day in Canada on these hop on hop off ferries. Nice relaxed way the spend the morning on the water. The ferry’s are so cute.

It was such a fun and relaxing way to explore Vancouver. The views from the water were beautiful, and the stops made it easy to visit places like Granville Island, David Lam Park and Yaletown. The boats came often — so convenient! Definitely worth getting the day pass.
Barbara_Y, Oct 2025
Very easy to find and all staff friendly and helpful. Great way to see Granville Island and discover other hidden gems along the waterfront.
Sharon_L, Oct 2025
Great friendly crew. It was raining and we were restricted to some of the docks/stops so after granville island we were encouraged to stay on the ferry and have a ride around to each dock as part of our day pass.
Jamie_R, Sep 2025
Very difficult to find the first hop on spot. No location markers in the booking beyond a general location. We got on the wrong company's ferries because the operator said it was correct then the next ferry operator clued us into the fact we had tickets to a different ferry. Now the ferry people were all very friendly and the ride was fun but very difficult to find the right hop on spot.

Great experience. Informative boat operators. Beautiful weather. Five stars. Would definitely recommend

Super fun, inexpensive way to navigate Vancouver's waterways meeting folks and enjoying cityscape views under the guidance of experienced captains. We definitely recommend!
Jason_H, Jul 2025
These little boats are very convenient. We purchased the day pass and rode the whole route for a great view of the harbor.
Suzana_B, Jul 2025
Lovely little ferry and great way to see Vancouver from the water. You can stop and enjoy different stops - museum or go for a nice meal
JENIFER_C, Jun 2025
Nice boat ride but expected narration along the way. Not very knowledgeable. Disappointing because I took this trip b4 and it was much better
Response from Host, Jun 2025
Hi Jenifer,
I am sorry to hear that your were disappointed, I will discuss your experience with our team and see how we can improve. In future, for those interested in more information, we recommend our narrated tour. It covers all of False Creek in one hour and is separate from our regular ferry service.
David_R, Jun 2025
We used the ferry service to explore the bay, stopping off at Granville Island first. A quick, fun way to get around, The crew were helpful and fun with good local knowledge.
Response from Host, Jun 2025
Thanks David, We are glad you enjoyed your visit to False Creek and Granville Island.
Kerry_L, Jun 2025
What a great way to explore along False Creek! We had very friendly ferry boat drivers who were so happy to impart their local knowledge.
Response from Host, Jun 2025
Hi Kerry, We are happy to hear that your False Creek exploration went well.
Ronaldo_S, May 2025
The experience was great overall. I was expecting a boat similar to the one in the advertisement, but a smaller one arrived instead. However, the boat driver was very friendly, which made the trip enjoyable.
Mariebride, May 2025
The Little ferry was great and the captain very courteous however did not go to many places where you could get off and see something.
Response from Host, May 2025
Sorry to hear that you didn't find something interesting on shore. Did you know that you can see within a one minute walk of the ferry docks: Granville Island and the famous Public Market, Sunset Beach, the Vancouver Maritime Museum, BC Place, Roundhouse Community Centre, David Lam Park, Vanier Park, the Olympic Village and numerous restaurants and activities? Expand the radius to a 5 minute walk and the list would go off the page.
Andrew_C, May 2025
Convenient and friendly service and a very nice way to access the main False Creek attractions in Vancouver
Allie_S, May 2025
Great little boats that take you around between Vancouver downtown & Granville Island plus many more sites!
BarryK_H, May 2025
There was little, if any wait time. The ride was smooth and the captains did a great job. We loved seeing the various buildings, boats, and sights in the area by boat.
Response from Host, May 2025
Fantastic. That's what we like to hear.
Mike_M, May 2025
What an awesome way to get around and see additional sites. The day pass is a great deal and well worth the savings of just a couple of connection trips. The staff are relaxed and the boats are better than on time.
Response from Host, May 2025
Hi Mike, Thanks for reminding us why we love what we do.
Adell_N, Sep 2024
Loved the Maritime Museum stop. It’s well worth walking to the museum and taking the tour there. Interesting stuff!
Douglas_C, Aug 2024
The day pass is the way to go. Traveled all around the Bay. Great time and great deal. The Granville Market is a must see. Check out my Captain and first mate. Sa-weet.
Paul_V, Jul 2024

Very convenient way to see some of the Vancouver highlights. Fast service, nice captains, easy to navigate. Purchasing tickets on line is easy.
Response from Host, Jul 2024
Hey Jim, We are happy that everything went well. Thanks for the review.
marvy_c, Jul 2024
My family enjoyed this different hop on hop off option from the water. We started at the Granville Island location which was just by the Tap and Barrell restaurant.( look for the yellow umbrellas)! The little blue boats looked so cute but it was sturdy enough to carry up to max of 10-12 people… we did the yellow line first as it had less stops to the Maritime Museum, then we did the red line for the rest of the day… the boats travelled frequently so you were not waiting no more than 15 mins at any stop… I wish they provided more information on what the highlights/ sights were on each of the stops on the brochure… overall a good option if you want something different to try.
Response from Host, Jul 2024
Hi Marvy, This is excellent feedback for us as we look for ways to improve. We are just trying out a new fully narrated one hour tour on our new electric boats and it seems like this might have ticked that last box for you. Hope you get a chance to try that one next time.
Conchi, Jun 2024
These cute little blue tug boats are a great way to get around False Creek and see the many landmark places to visit. You get an up front view of the shoreline and many cool things along the waterfront. We spent 6 hours hopping on and off these cute little tug boats.
Response from Host, Jul 2024
Hi Conchi, We agree. The boats are cute. Thank you for sending this in. We are glad you enjoyed your trip.
nangefv, Oct 2017
What a great way to see the Vancouver from the water. Taxis were easy to hop on and off. We hopped off at the Mariner Museum too, this is the only Ferry Service that stops at that sight. The price of the Ferry booking thru Viator could not be beat. We watched people getting on and off paying allot for short stops. So we were very lucky to have booked our trip ahead of time.
esuperior, Oct 2017
Just a neat efficient to use during visit. Great personnel
Sandra C, Oct 2017
This is a fun way to move around Vancouver and allows you to hop on and hop off whereever you wanted for the whole day. All the ferries are very frequent so there is very little waiting for the next one and Granville Island is definitely a must see.
