Begin at Granville Island on the Vancouver waterfront, where you’ll be fitted with a survival suit that slips right over your dinner attire, and will keep you warm on the water crossing to Bowen Island. Place your order before departing, so dinner will be ready upon arrival at the available restaurant in Bowen Island .
Board a 30-foot (9-meter), rigid hull zodiac boat that seats up to 12 people, and learn about Granville Island’s history as you navigate out of False Creek. Hear stories about the Burrard Street Bridge, Bard on the Beach, and the Eugenia Building as you follow the shoreline, then pick up speed when you reach open water. Hit 31mph (50kph) while passing Stanley Park, then pause at Siwash Rock to snap photos of the Vancouver landmark. Follow the shoreline towards Point Atkinson, then disembark at Bowen Island—you’ll have one hour to dine at Doc Morgan’s and stroll around Bowen Island’s shops.
Return the to boat for a second sightseeing cruise: see Vancouver’s seal colony from the water, then visit the Spanish Banks to see the shipping freighters up close (time permitting). Continue along the south shore of English Bay to Jericho and Kits Beach, and steer back towards the shoreline of Granville Island, where this tour concludes.

Great tour. The zodiac boat ride was really fun and we saw a lot of wildlife. The tour guide, James from England, was superb. The dinner was really good and the restaurant was darling. Then on the way back, at sunset, we saw 3 separate groups of humpback whales blowing their spouts and got a couple of tail fin waves when they went to go under the water. We met 2 other fun couples and enjoyed sitting down to share a meal with them. Incredible afternoon!

Marco was a great guide. He was fun, shared great history of Vancouver and had great music! The time on the water was a good time and Bowen Island was really neat!
This tour is absolutely marvelous. The zodiac boats are very comfortable and the seats are wonderful. Our captain and guide was absolutely marvelous. He knew his stuff and we enjoyed all of the information he gave us. The dinner at the restaurant was very very nice and then on the way back we spotted sperm whales who were actually breaching. We saw at least three.

Most memorable night ever! So much fun and a great captain- Simon! The boat tour was such a unique experience and a great way to see Vancouver from the water and all the beauty of the area!
Dinner was special and the sunset views going back were breathtaking! The night was simply the best though because of Simon and his level of skill with driving the boat, all of his love and knowledge of the Vancouver area and most of all his connection to all the passengers of all ages! Very rare to meet people like him!
Inexperienced guide and awful restaurant service (wait for over an hour for preordered food, ran out of some foods and drinks, one person didn’t get food even after a 90 wait) made this a disappointing experience. I expected more for my money.

Absolutely incredible, not to miss experience while you’re in Vancouver. We have done a zodiac tour with this company the last 3 summers and would do it again and again. The Bowen Island tour is excellent, I absolutely love being on the water, our tour guide was so knowledgeable about the area and the island itself is so quaint and beautiful. Dinner was fantastic and had a lovely atmosphere. The ride back at sunset was just spectacular - truly a memorable experience that will stay with you forever.
This trip was the highlight of our week! We really enjoyed our driver, his kindness and vast wealth of knowledge!

This is a great experience, not to be missed in Vancouver. Exhilarating ride on the zodiac, so it’s not appropriate for everyone, especially those with mobility issues, as it’s a very bumpy ride and difficult to get in and out of the raft. For us, the bumper the better!! Got to see some landmarks along the way and see Vancouver from the water at dusk! Our guide, TEAGAN, was super friendly, very knowledgeable and full of information! The restaurant we eat at on Bowman Island was delicious. I appreciated the selection of restaurant.

We had a great time on our journey throughout the waters of Vancouver. Zach did an awesome job as out tour director. The dinner on Bowen Island was very good at a very quaint little restaurant.
What a fun tour! First, our guide (Cassidy? Cassandra?) was terrific. You could tell she loved the boats, being on the water, and helping make our experience the best it could be. Second, the whole tour was fun, fun, fun. Loved seeing Vancouver from the water and the meal on Bowen Island was delicious. Would definitely recommend doing this.
Wonderful ride with Zach. Got the chance to learn about Vancouver and the surrounding area, ride on a boat and get up close to some freighter, see some seals, look at fancy houses, see lots of mountain ranges and have dinner on the beautiful Bowen Island. Highly recommend and worth the money. Great tour guide.
Captain Jack was amazing, super friendly and knowledgeable. Gave us such a fantastic water tour. There was only four of us on this particular evening, we travelled to Snug Cove and had dinner. The town was super quaint and the restaurant was beautiful. Sadly the restaurant really was a disappointment when it came to service. It took 35 minutes to get our “pre-ordered” drink and our food didn’t arrive until 10 minutes before we had to depart. They didn’t have the item I had selected, it took 20 minutes for them to let me know that and another 10 for them to come back and ask me what my other choice was. We had to quickly eat before our meeting time. That is not this tour operator’s fault at all. We went on the zodiak tour to Granite Falls last August and it was one of our favourite tours of all time. This company is great, don’t hesitate to book a tour with them.
We’ve lived in Vancouver most of our lives and yet this boat ride was something entirely new for us. Our captain, Ray shared lots of interesting local history. Snug cove on Bowen is charming and we had a delicious dinner at Tuscany restaurant. The sunset views on the way back were spectacular

Our guide and captain, Graydon, was both informative and fun; he really made our tour great. The speed boat to the island was awesome (the survival suits make for some fun photos)! Dinner was very good, and sunset ride back to dock was as well. Highly recommend this tour.

The zodiac boat was great! The seats make it such a smooth ride. Beautiful to be on the water at sunset. Bowen Island marina was pretty to see.. The restaurant was good.. Our tour guides were a cute couple.

we had two wonderful guides, Simon and young Paul and they were extremely engaging and most knowledgeable about various points of interest. Had a great tour of the coastline and did some open water exploration. Loved the vibe on Bowen Island. Laid back coastal the moment you docked. Would definately try Vancouver Water Adventures for more opportunities
The boat ride and dinner were a excellent way to enjoy a nice evening on the water. Our tour guide Kyala made the experience wonderful! We even saw some dolphins.
