It was an incredible experience to see the manta rays swimming so close to us. I also appreciate that the guides were very knowledgeable and extremely patient. Very friendly guide, knowledgeable about many aspects of island living, history, culture and nature. The tour was rich in breathtaking vistas, fun swims in the ocean and under the waterfall. You can taste local delicacies like banana bread and coconut ice cream. If you are prone to motion sickness though, take medicine before you get on the winding road to Hana.

Our group of 12 went to this luau last week, and it ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. The performances were energetic, beautifully done, and kept everyone entertained from start to finish. The food selection was decent with a good variety, and the service throughout the night was great — friendly, organized, and attentive. Keep in mind you are visiting a sacred place with unmatched historical significance. It is a memorial, so while it’s a bit somber, there is a sense of American pride and respect for those that were lost. Having said that, our family feels like it is a must when visiting Oahu. Out tour guide was outstanding in knowledge of Hawaii and specifically the events that occurred at Pearl Harbor and the historical significance. Highly recommend!

If you’re looking for postcard photos and a fun, energetic crew this excursion is for you. The guides narrated through various locations of interest as we traveled to and through the Nāpali coast. The crew was a lot of fun - this would be the perfect outing for 20- or 30-something friends looking to jump off a boat into the ocean (seriously). Snorkeling location was too cloudy for good viewing, don’t do this trip if that’s all you’re looking for. The views of the coast are picturesque. The ship captain expertly steered us through choppy waters and caves alike.

Amazing trip!

Incredible experience with Captain Jacob, Vince, and the entire Hang Loose Tours crew! Everyone was friendly, professional, and helpful from the initial welcome through deboarding. Hang Loose was also extremely accommodating when we needed to change our tour date because of forecast bad weather. I was expecting the tour to go to the Keauhou area, but we instead went near the airport—which was arguably even better. There were fewer boats, and we saw 10–12 manta rays continuously throughout our time in the water. Swimmers of all skill levels were welcome, and the guides were available to help weaker swimmers get to and from the boat and the viewing raft. Once you’re there, all you have to do is relax and enjoy the spectacular scenery and these majestic creatures. The boat was also well equipped, with an onboard restroom, light snacks such as chips, water, and soft drinks. An incredible experience and definitely one of the highlights of our trip!

Toa was definitely a great experience! From the moment we arrived, they made us feel like family. One of my favorite parts was being able to participate in some of the activities and performances on stage. It gave me an even greater appreciation and respect for the performers because you quickly realize that what they do is hard work and definitely not as easy as it looks! The experience was a perfect combination of humor, education, culture, and audience participation. There was never a dull moment, and you truly felt involved in the experience rather than just watching from the sidelines. 100,000 out of 10! I would absolutely recommend Toa to anyone looking for a fun, interactive, and memorable lual experience! The food was amazing as well! 👍🏽

We had a fantastic experience! We saw many Sea Turtles, a white reef shark, a variety of fish, and a Ray. The crew were spectacular! Knowledgeable and kind. This is the only company who would accommodate my father-in-law who uses a walked. Our thanks to them for being able to include everyone!

Great experience

It was a great experience. The crew was really helpful, and friendly. They were very professional and made sure everyone was safe. The food was good, the atmosphere was good, the crew did everything they could to make it a good experience. The only negative I could say is we didn’t see a single turtle and we were really excited about seeing turtles. I think the crew did the best they could to give us that experience, but the ocean and the turtles didn’t cooperate that day.

Absolutely breathtaking...

Absolutely breathtaking views. I was terrified at first (my husband is the one who wanted to do the heli tour) but our pilot helped put me at ease. He warned us when it would get bumpy so there were no scary surprises. He also stayed away from a cliff edge at my request bc I was scared. I am so glad I did it and would recommend that everyone should see Kauai from a helicopter.
