Must do tour!

This is absolutely a must do tour if you are in Brussels! Our hosts Clemens and Antoine were just spectacular. Their stories and insights along the tour were such a bonus. We stopped and tried several varieties/styles of beers and chocolates, and leaned the history and stories behind them. The 4.5 hours absolutely flew by. We also leaned great little tidbits about the city and it's history. 💯 would recommend this tour- well worth the money!

Fantastic insight into a great city!

This tour was such a great introduction to understanding Belgium and more specifically the city of Brussels. We booked our tour for the evening we arrived. Walid was our guide and he was fantastic! As someone who was born and raised in Brussels, he was a perfect ambassador. He was both interesting and funny. We started off sampling some delicious chocolate. After winding through the streets and learning the history we came to our second stop. The three in our party chose the frites rather than the waffles because we had just had a sweet treat. We hit more highlights of the city before our final destination where we sampled a flight of Belgiums finest beer/cider. Overall, having had this tour at the beginning gave us great insight into what Brussels is all about. I would highly recommend this to anyone who has never been to Brussels. It truly gives you a sense of what the city was all about and how it refuses to be anything but truly Brussels!

It’s a long day but it’s worth it. Steffan was always giving so much information at every chance he found. These details he gave us made it so much easier to understand at each location we visited . Finishing off our trip was the last post ceremony in Ypres, this was certainly worth the wait. Although it was a long trip back to Brussells, I certainly enjoyed the whole day. Martin King was our very knowledgeable guide and on the bus ride to Bastogne gave us a concise and interesting account of the battle. We all learned a lot. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who is interested in history. We visited the American cemetery, the foxholes used by Easy Company, and General MacAuliffe's headquarters, along with the Bastogne War Museum. This was a one day trip and we covered so much ground and information that it was well worth it. I'm sure that you can take a more expensive or longer tour, but if you only have a day, I highly recommend this one and that you get Martin King as your guide for the day.

Ready, set, go!

We started off on a rooftop and got a 360 degree view of beautiful Brussels, Patrick pointed out where we would be going and took off from there. Patrick was terrific! We saw the “must sees” and also the little jewels of Brussels. We covered alit of history and a lot of ground. Hint: make sure you wear comfortable shoes to navigate the cobblestone streets!

Eating through Brussels..Magnifique!

Florent was an excellent guide who was born and raised in Belgium! He shared with us not only history but also took us on a Belgian journey of foods that was one better than another as well as sampling beer! We were a small group of six who got to know each other and the Belgian people! Florent also provided us with some places to eat in Bruges which was another tour along with a pub to sample beers! Both recommendations were spot on! A wonderful tour and a wonderful city! Thank you for a wonderful memory!

Excellent tour without feeling touristy

Mark was very thorough and took us to all of the typical tourist highlights but also added some amazing stops at shops like Elisabeth and BS40 for chocolates (staff was all so friendly and attentive) as well as giving some history and examples of brown bars and beer history. The meal was incredible and having it in a private room felt more personal than some large scale operations. Every choice Mark made including his service was impeccable.

Delicious fun informative

The intake at the main location was not welcoming and then you do walk about 5 minutes to the classroom/kitchen. BUT Patricia gave a wonderfully informative presentation and we made lots of delicious chocolates! I went solo and felt welcome and included in our small group. Can’t wait to try my chocolates! Overall a really fun afternoon!

It was an interesting day . The history of Ghent and Brugge was explain by our guide Julianne. It was very busy the day we were there. It was a large bus tour which I am usually not in favor of, but given the distance cover was efficient. He only suggestion I would have is to provide more practical info toilettes, directions etc you truly want to experience Brugge.
