If you only have a short amount of time in Chobe National Park, exploring with a guided tour is the best way to go. This tour provides all of the transportation logistics to easily get you from your hotel, across the border, and onto a safari boat cruise and afternoon game drive so that you can see the animals you most want to see. Throughout the day, guides give you plenty of insight into local culture and wildlife and help you spot animals you might miss on your own.

On arrival at one of the Lodges, you will get accustomed to the game drive by an experienced guide in a Game Drive Vehicle. There are several water holes that are in the park that your guide will travel close to in an attempt to catch the animals during their feeding time. Your guide will drive you through the park enabling you to view animals from the top of terrain. You will then be taken back to the lodge for a heavy brunch at mid day. As the suns heat cools down most animals heard for the water holes and in pursuit of game, you will be taken on your second Game Drive. The Elephant Encounter affords and give an opportunity to our clients to unobtrusively observe some of the biggest personalities in Africa, in a pristine wilderness environment overflowing with raw natural beauty. Guests will spend time and connect with elephants in the most positive and natural way possible. Guests will have an opportunity to talk to our guides that have journeyed, physically and metaphonically, incredible distances with these elephants and learn more about the complexities of the individuals and the herd structures. Guests will learn about the elephants as well as their history and how they came to be in our care as well as the threats facing elephant population today, in an interesting and informative talk. Guests will venture out into the bush to spent time with the elephants and the sight of the gentle grey mammals up close and personal will be imprinted on guests minds long after they have returned home. This activity is a river sunset safari done on the upper part of the mighty Zambezi river. The duration for this activity is 2 hours where pick up times can be 1530hrs or 1600hrs depending on the season. Drinks and snacks are included as well as transfers to and from the hotels.
