This was great. We have been on safaris before, so for this one the highlight was the boat trip, where we could see elephants, hippos, crocs and kudus. It was a smooth experience to cross the border, the food for lunch is in a nice place and you are back before sunset. Would do it again.

Simply super tour. An easy border crossing into Botswana followed by a spectacular drive with an excellent guide/driver. Enjoyed the river cruise too, we saw so many animals. The buffet lunch was pretty good too.

From start to finish, we had an amazing experience. Our guide on land, Godfrey, was such a great guy and so knowledgeable, entertaining and accommodating. The river part of the excursion was just as amazing as the land part, with many exceptional encounters with many animals. The lunch was a buffet which was very nice. This tour is a must-do if you want exceptional animal experiences but I suppose this part depends on Mother Nature. As for the tour operator and its guides, top notch.

Great experience

Devesh_S, Apr 2026
Wow what a fantastic experience. Firstly pick up was on time. There was assistance to get us through the border crossings both ways. Safari guides tried their best so that we could see many animals. They not only relied on radios but also tracked lions using their paw prints (this was very impressive). Lunch was good, very little options for vegetarians though. The river cruise was great, however no many animals to see apart from crocodiles and hippos. Overall, I would recommend.

Great time!

We had a terrific time. Cobra was an excellent guide! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. It was especially enjoyable to enjoy both land and water.

Not my first safari experience but it was the most enjoyable one as it was well-organised. Buffet lunch at the lodge was great. It was nice to have the iced water and soft drinks from the cooler box as the weather was quite hot. Appreciated our guide Cobra's effort to drive us up close to the animals. The boat ride was a great opportunity to see the animals in a different habitat.

A good day trip to see beautiful animals

Sian_D, Mar 2026
A great way to see a little of Botswana’s amazing animal population. So many gorgeous elephants and Impalas. Sadly no cats but it’s wet season so to be expected. Lunch was tasty but chaotic organisation wise.

Don't miss this

Great tour to Chobe

CRAIG_N, Jan 2026
Pick up was on time. Drive to Botswana took about an hour. Border crossing was straightforward. Cobra was the tour guide from Botswana side and he was great. He managed to find a lion by tracking the prints. Not every tour saw a lion that day. Saw lots of animals despite being the off season including a lion, giraffes, elephants, buffalo and hippos. Boat trip was a highlight, saw a lot of hippos in and out of the water. Lunch was nice at a beautiful lodge. Just had to pay for any drinks and USD was accepted.

We had the best Chobe national park day tour! Our safari guide Cobra was an experienced and amazing guide and we got to see lions up close as well as tons and tons of elephants at a very close distance! The boat tour was very nice as well. Highly recommend!

Lots of animal sightings on this excellent game drive from Victoria Falls

Andre_U, Jan 2026
This was one of our best game drives - we saw lots of elephants and baboons on the road between Victoria Falls and Chobe. The border crossings went without a hitch and we had great fun spotting the various wildlife in the national park. Apart from the leopard we saw the rest of the Big 5. Unfortunately there was a lack of etiquette when we got a lion sighting but the lion didn’t seem to mind and even got up and walked right past our vehicle! This was a super game drive with very knowledgeable guides who spotted animals we had no idea were nearby. Highly recommended.

Blatant discrimination, no lunch left, badly organised and rude managers.

Katie_S, Dec 2025
Pick up was smooth, friendly driver, but when we got to the border, out of a crowd of around 100 people, my daughter and I were singled out and told we’d have to sit separately on different trucks. There were large groups of travellers together, who could’ve easily been separated yet still have someone they know with them, and when we questioned this, they said “but they’d want to be together” as if a mother and young daughter wouldn’t want to be?! We were told by a woman that as we were being “awkward women”, we’d probably have to leave as they can’t accommodate, but there wouldn’t be a refund. They were rude and dismissive, and it was clear discrimination as we were the only two single women with blonde hair - probably thinking we’d just accept it. They refused to ask any groups with men or more mature women, as they knew they’d be questioned. They could’ve easily separated larger groups or asked others if they’d move - but they didn’t. After 20 mins of tears, they put us on the same truck, but separated - both middle seats, one on the first row, the other on the last, so we were sandwiched between couples - as everyone wanted a seat at the edge regardless if they sat with a partner or not. Seats should be allocated so everyone is together, not separating others constantly for selfishness so people can be at the edge. A couple offered to swap as they said they were never asked if they could move seat to accommodate 2 people, so we did get together, but it ruined the trip. The safari was good, driver was friendly, saw lots of animals. Then got to lunch to find most of the food had gone so we had hardly any food. They said more was coming out, but we waited for 20-30 mins and it was obvious it wasn’t. Lunch was awful and chaotic. We then did the water safari which was great, not much shade for the sun but had a nice time. On the way back to the border, it was heavy rain, the trucks don’t have sides, and the driver only had 4 ponchos for 9 people - they could’ve had the correct number of ponchos for the price. Everyone got absolutely drenched on the way to the border. It’s a shame, as for the price, the trip was badly organised, with some rude managers and blatant discrimination, but the drivers were generally friendly and knowledgeable.

Great day at the park....

Great day at the park. Everything well managed and organised. Good people, ok vehicles and good buffet.

Great for nature nerds

Emma_v, Dec 2025
Started the day early from my lodge in Victoria Falls, and the tour operator reminded me to ask for a packed breakfast. We were helped through immigration, however I did get separated from my group due to a bathroom break after exiting the immigration post, so some signage or communication about which vehicle we were heading for would have been appreciated. The driver was also the guide, and very knowledgeable. The vehicle is open, and the track is bumpy, so be prepared for that. The first stop did not include snacks, only water. Also, toilets are very basic so bring a small pack of tissues and wet wipes to clean yourself. Lunch was a buffet at Mowana resort, and then we headed out onto the river. The boat was not large, so if you're not great with boats, be aware that this is included. Overall, we saw impala, elephant, giraffe, hippos, baboons, monkeys, kudu, crocodiles, and plenty of birdlife. You will need sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat. You may need a scarf to cover your mouth and nose if the wind bothers you. You will get dusty.

Very nice tour, thank you BK

Andrey_K, Nov 2025
This was a very nice tour! Our guide BK was very knowledgeable and patient with some rowdy passengers - kudos to him for that! We saw a huge pride of lions, some came very close to the vehicle. The lunch was good, the cruise was good too overall. I just wasn’t expecting to have that drivers and multiple guides throughout the tour, but I guess it makes sense since we’re crossing the border.

Chobe day trip

Jonathan_C, Nov 2025
The vehicle in Botswana was of very poor quality far worse than others. The guide whilst friendly and knowledgeable was somewhat difficult to understand. We did a lot of driving without too much in the way of explanation.

Fabulous

Tracy_L, Oct 2025
Outstanding and surreal. Cobra was our Guide and was wonderful and took his time showing and explaining to the group the varied animals and stories inland and Mr Guide was our boat guide and was fabulous- the highlight were the elephants and hippos- just incredible at the river

Recommend this trip

Amazing experience. Saw so many animals during the land and boat portion. So many elephants, buffalos, impala, giraffes, kudo, we even saw a pack of female lions. LT was our guide and he was very informative and pleasant.

This was a very nice day trip to Botswana. We were able to do a game drive in the AM and then a river cruise in the afternoon. Game drive we saw many animals 3 out of the big 5. For lunch we went to one of the local hotels Cresta Moana and the food was very good. Just as a heads up, Drinks are not included so an extra charge. The river cruise was nice because you got to get a better view of the animals. Please remember to bring your passport and if you get an visa, get double entry it will save you time!

Fantastic Experience!

Heidi_R, Sep 2025
Our trip to Chobe was incredible. Every driver and guide was kind and helpful and full of smiles. Our park guide, Cobra, was outstanding. He was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. The highlight for us was the boat cruise. We saw elephants so close that we could almost touch them!

Amazing Chobe National Park Experience

Tiong_O, Aug 2025
The best safari tour so far! Short & sweet and got to see all the animals that close to use. The service from beginning to end was amazing! Highly recommend it!

An Unforgettable Safari Experience!

Kumuthadavi_R, Aug 2025
Our Chobe Day Trip from Victoria Falls was truly an experience of a lifetime, and much of that is thanks to our incredible guide, Cobra. He was absolutely excellent – not only was he knowledgeable and engaging, but he was also both our safari driver on land and our boat captain on the river, making the whole experience seamless and exciting. The highlight for me was the unforgettable close-up of elephant herds swimming across the river – a magical moment I will never forget. We were also lucky enough to spot a leopard, giraffes, buffalo, hippopotamus, kudu, eland, impala, antelope, jackal, and more. Every sighting felt special and well-timed thanks to Cobra’s sharp eye and expertise. Lunch was fantastic and a great way to recharge before continuing the adventure. This was hands-down one of the best safari experiences I’ve ever had, and I can’t thank Cobra enough for making it so memorable. Highly recommended!

Fabulous day trip.

Trudi_R, Aug 2025
Picked up on time by Pamela, collected another couple then straight to Kazangula border point. Saw a few animals on the way. Pamela showed us where to queue for immigration, then handed us over to Cobra and 3 other guests before completing the Botswanan side of immigration. There were queues so it took a while at both points. Set off to where we were getting the boat, about 20 mins. It's an open safari vehicle, so was quite cold in the wind at around 9am. Needed my beanie and fleece. Cobra's boat was interesting - looked a bit ramshackle. It took a while to get going as it was stuck on some mud, but between the guys on board and Cobra, they got it going! Great time on the boat, saw hippo and elephant, impala, kudu and many birds. Then lunch at a Lodge on the river. Was ok, a good buffet assortment, but very busy and a bit of a rammy to get things. Drinks were not included, but very reasonable. The afternoon was a drive in Chobe Park - we were so lucky to see many elephant and giraffe, hippos, crocodiles, impala, kudu and a leopard! Apparently they hadn't seen one for ages and unbelievably we saw another on the way back to Vic Falls with Pamela! There were queues again at the immigration points, but all in all a fabulous day.

Chobe National Park Trip: Outstanding

JosephM_A, Jul 2025
Excellent tour. Stanford was our driver to Botswana (Kasungula Border Post). Then we had Geffrey on the Botswana side. I came from Zimbabwe and used the KAZA Visa. One thing I noticed, I came from Kenya so they screened me for the Monkey Pox and asked for the Yellow Fever Vaccine. Animals, transport etc were beyond reproach. Just make sure you TIP the drivers on both sides. Whilst Botswana is more wealthier than Zimbabwe, they all need the money. Immigration on the Botswana side was definitely more thorough due to the economic situation in Zimbabwe. We saw all animals except Cheetah or Leopards. Rhino have been relocated. Excellent choice of a trip IF you take it. The lunch was very good and flavorful.

Stunningly beautiful! I only wish I had photography skills because this would have been the perfect opportunity to bring more than a phone for photos. I guess I’ll have to come back!

The best safari with the most amazing guide: Cobra! Everything was very smooth from start to finish. Cobra knew all the great places to spot the animals. The lunch and the snacks were delicious! We had a small boat for the river cruise, so it was easier to maneuver around the animals but thw ride was a bit choppier at times. I highly recommend this company and the guide Cobra. Thank you for the awesome day!

Very well organised with friendly and knowledgeable people. Chobe has plenty of wildlife and the river cruise is spectacular!

This company will not disappoint you.

Fantastic, great value for a day out that you will never forget. Unbelievable Guide who went above and beyond. Chobe River trip, first class and a great lunch to boot.

Theresa_J, May 2025
I saw 3/5 of the big five in Chobe (no lions nor rhinos). The game drive was the better part of the trip. Lunch was amazing. I probably had the worst seat on the boat- right side towards the back. Unfortunately for me, most of the interesting stuff was on the left, so I couldn’t take very good photos. I would recommend using a smaller company for a more personalized experience.

One of the best experiences of my life

One of the best experiences of my life. Everything went smoothly, guide was friendly, safari jeep was open air and comfortable, and lunch was really nice in a fancy hotel.
