Great day in Chobe. Saw a lot of animals. Very knowledgeable guides. First we did game drive and afterwards we did the cruise where we got even closer in on the animals. Lunch was also very good. Very good organised day. Remember to bring some USD cash for visa and for tips.

A fabulous day from start to finish, we fully recommend it. The quality of the transport and guides were great. We saw lots of wildlife including elephants, impala, hippo’s, giraffes and crocodiles and eagles. The combination of a half day safari and half day river cruise was fantastic.

This was an amazing once in a lifetime tour. Bryn picked me up at my hotel and took me to the Botswana border where he walked me through the border process. He then connected me to the Botswana company, Holiday Africa Safari and Tours. Richard picked me and two other people up at the Botswana border for a day trip to the Chobe National Park. Chose he was a great driver and tour guide, he made sure we saw many animals and we had enough time to take plenty of pictures. He made sure we had plenty of water and once the driving tour was completed, he took us to the a local resort for lunch. The buffet lunch was good and we had plenty of time to eat. to our boat for the river tour. The boat was small and the Captain's name was Large. He was knowledgable about all the animals and a great boat captain. He made sure we had time to take plenty of pictures and had lots of water. After the boat tour, company staff returned us to the border where we met with our original drivers. I would highly recommend both company's.

This is an amazing experience. Everything was very smooth from the pickup (see suggestions below); the safari itself; transfer at the border and the lunch. The driver (from lodge to Zim border was nice and respectful; Baits who was the Safari guide was also nice). A few suggestions for the owner to improve: 1. I was pick up at 7am despite my booking clearly said it was for 7:30am. Since I was alone, it was easy for me to manage a quick breakfast and immediately leave - but if I were to be with other people, this could have been an issue. 2. Possibly because I was solo, there were a couple of changes during transfers. I began with a different group and after lunch I was asked to join a different group for the river tour and after the river tour (heading back to Zim border) I was assigned a different driver again. There was not an issue at all since everything went super smoothly, but if this could be informed more clearly ahead of time (with name and contact details of the drivers), it could help reduce the anxiety.

Thank you so much , very appreciated. An itinerary is worth a great team with a few team members very is correct and pre information of the day structure is important . I will reinforce that on operations team. Thank you also doubling different links we work with for varrying pickup time ,normally Chobe day pickup is 07h00 then Chobe overnight Camping is 10h00 or 11h00 depending on travellers request for the 2 optioned times. A must do day trip

What a lovely experience. I was picked up from my hotel by a lovely tour guide- it was a chilly morning and the car was warm which was very thoughtful . He promptly took me to the border , sorted out stamping my passport .I was then transferred to another lovely tour guide who drove us to the Botswana border - he drove exceptionally well despite the state of the road in some parts . The drive felt short because I slept but I believe it’s a 75km distance .Once we got to Botswana we met another guide who was going to do the land game drive with us , we drove about 10 minutes and got to the Chobe National Park - the drive is short but can get chilly and windy because the vehicle is open so dress warm and wear a hat that is secure .the game drive on land was a treat , we even spotted lions that had just hunted a giraffe . The river cruise was magical , the elephants were swimming and the sunset on the way back was mesmerising.

Wonderful, singular experience for those who haven’t experienced a safari before. All others in our group had before, but still said this one was great. There’s a lot of groups involved with moving you across the border and the land safari and river “cruise,” but they had it all figured out. We got to see zebras (on the road to Botswana), elephants, impalas, elephants, a Lion, and a giraffe on land. For the River cruise, we saw LOTS of crocodiles, water buffalo, hippos, vultures, more elephants, and various birds. Also, the buffet lunch was surprisingly good. Everyone who has seen my pics on social media is jealous. To top it off, we got held up on the ride back to Victoria Falls by a stubborn elephant. Great time!

The most incredible trip! The staff that looked after us were excellent. Provided a seamless day from pick up, assistance with immigration, and then on the trips. The game drive was fantastic, Figo was informative and really attentive to help find what we were eager to see. The river cruise was also amazing. Saw so many animals up close. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting!

Poorly organized

The animals were amazing, and I saw enought of them. The trip was poorly organized. I came from Victoria falls and cleared customs without delay. Then I had to wait at a dusty parking lot with dogs and pigs for the rest of the group who came from Zambia. It was a large group of Chinese with visa problems. Make sure that your whole group comes from the same country. We finally got to the park midday after being picked up at 7 am. Most of the animals were resting under the trees. The tour was short so we could get to lunch. The other car got sk and we hat to go back to pull them out. The guide had to borrow rope from a south African man. After lunch I took the boat tour with a different group. For the ride back I had yet another group. I was worried about getting back. So I can’t recommend this business.

Our guide Obi was experienced behind the wheel and very knowledgeable. We got to see elephants, giraffes, hippos, impalas, lions and even the elusive leopards. Couldn’t have asked for a better day. The lunch was plentiful and varied at the Cresta Moana Lodge which had a lovely setting by the Chobe River.

The whole day trip was beyond amazing. We went to 3 different countries...the border crossings were smooth. Our guide was very knowledgeable and knew what he was doing !! He skillfully made your we saw Lions, Elephants, 4 variety in deer famiy, Impalas water Buffalos, Hippopotamus, Aligaters, 🐊...and many other animals, whose names I don't remember. We did the Chobi river and land safari in Botswana !! Our guide was "GABA"tsholwe Sanbzarang of Tony Mobile Safary in Botswana. We got very personified service. We has 2 senior citizens, a youth and 2 ladies celebrating 50th Birthdays.

I booked the tour because the description said it was straight from Zambia to botswana however that was not the case, I had to pass through Zimbabwe which resulted me in paying $50 at the border (I only had a single entry visa). Other than that the tour was great, I saw a lot of different animals. The buffet lunch was delicious. At the end the tour refund me $50 to make up for their mistake, which I greatly appreciate.

A Dream Come True in Chobe

We had an absolutely amazing day in Chobe with Gaba as our guide! The transfer through the border was quick and easy. Gaba picked us up in Botswana and was with us for the rest of the day. He was incredibly knowledgeable about all of the animals and birds we saw, and made a special effort to help us see the things we were particularly interested in. Everything about Chobe National Park was beautiful and it was full of life. There was so much to see, even at the end of the "green" season! Gaba was patient and allowed us as much time as we wanted to take pictures and just watch the beautiful animals. At one point, a herd of elephants that we were watching across the river swam towards us and emerged right by our vehicle. It was an amazing experience that would not have happened if we had been rushed along. We saw everything we had hoped to see and more (even a leopard in a tree!). This day will have a special place in my heart forever. Thank you for a perfect "first safari" experience. The bar was set very high. We will be back!

Absolutely fabulous trip! The arrangements by the Indontolo team were 2nd to none! So responsive that I also contacted them to help with transfers to and from the airport and also to arrange other activities! Amazingly helpful, nothing too much trouble and the team super connected and made us feel utterly safe the whole time we were there! Jack who was our guide on the safari was amazing! Absolutely in touch with the animals and knew how to search them out and what to look for! Not only did we find the lions, he realized they were likely to mate and we actually saw them! Unbelievable!
