Pick up was on time and the drive to Matobo NP took some 30 min. Straight away we saw two rhinos in the park and approached them, taking photos and video clips for my YouTube channel. We spent around 25 min with the rhinos and left them for the San rock paintings close by. The paintings are just like them in Brandberg, Namibia, but older. This was where my tour would have ended, but I added on the Matopos Hills monument part, where Cecil Rhodes grave is found, a historical site in Zimbabwe. I had an excellent day with plenty of really good footage!!

Wow, that’s a packed and exciting day! Sounds like the Best of Matobo tour delivered right from the start—on-time pickup, a quick 30-minute drive, and bam, rhinos right away. Getting 25 minutes with them for your YouTube channel must’ve been gold; that’s some killer footage. The San rock paintings sound fascinating too—cool to hear they’re older than the ones in Brandberg. Adding on the Matopos Hills monument and Cecil Rhodes’ grave seems like a smart move for the historical vibe. Glad you had an excellent day with tons of great content! What’s your channel name? I’d love to check out those clips.

What a fabulous experience. Getting up close to the amazing White Rhinos. Guides and rangers do a fabulous job protecting these amazing beasts.
