What are people saying about Zagreb

Casual, relaxing and informative tour
Very casual, relaxed walk highlighting the important parts of the tour. Our tour guide, Robert, was entertaining and well versed in the history of Zagreb and Croatia and mixed in history with a sense of humor. Depending on what time of the year you go, bake sure to wear a hat and bring water. It can be hot.

Very enlightening tour
This was an excellent tour. We got out of it way more than I was expecting. I learned so much about the area and the conflicts that they have experienced. Our guide, Vid, was outstanding. He was so open-minded and answered all our questions and was very neutral about the topics. It was really educational. I really enjoyed it. Highly recommended if you want to learn about the area.

A great experience...
A great experience overall. The driver was very accommodating ant patient with us. The mini bus was very clean and comfortable. The children where able to nap on the way there and back. The drive time on the way to Bled is not as noticeable because you have a 2 h stop at Lubjiana but the trip back is a straight drive from Bled to Zagreb. Both locations are extremely beautiful, especially the views from the castle above lake Bled are amazing.

Good trip worth the money spent
It was a very good and pleasant trip. The lakes and the waterfall, and colours are beautiful. The walka are not tiring even for eldery person. The guide is also friendly and knowlegeable. Last but not least, the driver, Ivan solved the first bus that had problem with the air condition by having a new bus to get back to Zagreb. Overvall the trip worth the cost of the trip

Fun Day Trip from Zagreb
The small-group experience like this is definitely preferable to going with a busload of people. We had a knowledgeable guide/driver, and a friendly group in the van. Insider tip related to Ljubljana: in addition to the shops, check out the local vendors at the farmers market and lined up along the water by the triple bridge, across from the pink church. Insider tip related to Bled Island: If you don't want to go up (or down) the 99 stone steps to the church, there is a sloped path you can take instead just to the right of the stairs closest to the boat dock. At the top, next to the church, you'll find a little cafe with ice cream and Slovenian cakes, a souvenir shop, and restrooms/WCs. There's no cost to go to the top! You might want to bring a backpack or canvas bag for carrying the items you are likely to buy while in Ljubljana, and consider buying/bringing a snack for the 2- to 2.5-hour drive back to Zagreb.

Pick up was punctual....
Pick up was punctual. Tour guide was great! She took us in a different direction than usual so we were not impacted by the crowds or wasted time queuing for boats. The only issue we experienced was at lunch where the choice is limited and the queue was long. None of us used the bathrooms at that spot as the queue was a mile long and we waited a long time for food. Not the fault of the company at all but do recommend you bring your own lunch and visit the gift shop for an ice cream!
Overall great day. The lakes are stunning.

Saša should be your tour guide!
You wont find a better guide than Saša. He is extremely knowledgeable about the history of Croatia and teaches it with passion. His other passions include world sports. Following him through the park is a treat. He knows all the secrets, stories, and how to navigate Plitvice successfully. On the way back to Zagreb Saša walked us through local cuisine. We're headed out now to sample some of the restaurants that were recommended.

Lake Bled
Our guide, Lucy, was amazing. Provided us with a lot of insight and gave us all of the highlights and gave us enough time to explore and eat at our leisure. It rained heavily part of the trip but she found us so we didnt get soaked going back to the van. 10/10 would recommend this excursion!

A walk around Zagreb
Our guide Petra was brilliant. She gave us an insight to Zagreb and Croatia which was interesting and showed us many sights that had been on our to do list. We were grateful that our group wasn't a large one as it meant we could ask many questions and could hear her over all other noises (as there was a demonstration that day in the square). She showed us the planet Venus which we would never have found (which wasn't on the itinerary) and really made the tour for us. I'd have no qualms in recommending a tour with Petra. She does more than just Zagreb as well so hopefully we can return and do those with her as well.

Outstanding!
This was truly a wonderful experience and a highlight of our travels. Žiga and Bor were outstanding guides. The day was long but passed quickly, and we enjoyed learning so much about Slovenia (including the Croatian perspective of our fellow travelers, Vedrana and Andreja). Lots of love from Ohio to our fellow Slovenians! #sLOVEnia

Our first combined...
Our first combined sightseeing and transfer tour was a wonderful experience. Pickup from Zagreb was punctual, the van comfortable, and the 2.5-hour drive smooth. The 8 km hike through Plitvice Lakes’ stunning waterfalls and lakes, plus a short boat and bus ride, was unforgettable. Lunch had vegetarian options, and transfer to Split was seamless. Excellent service from Gray Line guides Sanja and Mia—highly recommended!

Best City Tour Ever!
I loved this bike tour with Zeljka, she was so lovely and informative giving great insights and stories about this beautiful city. I learnt so much so quickly and it was a great way to get an overview of Zagreb. I’ve only done walking tours before and a bike tour is so much better. You get to see so much more, much more easily and it’s nice that have a breeze on your face.

Not seeing something you are looking for?
The central region of Croatia is an underrated part of the world where adventure and beauty await. A day trip from Zagreb allows you to explore more of the country many people don't see. From medieval towns like Samobor to the romantic Varazdin, there is no shortage of quaint baroque destinations to explore. For nature enthusiasts, Plitvice Lakes National Park boasts cascading waterfalls and stunning landscapes. And for those looking for a new country to cross off their travel bucket list, a dip into neighboring Slovenia's capital, Ljubljana, is just a short ride away.
