Our guide for this excursion was Martine . Martine was excellent she spoke perfect English and was very entertaining and knowledgable . We took the tour in February and did the lower lakes on the b trail which is about 4 kilometres long . This walk is gentle (except the last 100 metres after the boat ride where it is uphill . This was a fantastic day out and the views of the village and the waterfalls on the trail were superb . I cannot recommend this highly enough for a day out of Zagreb . The pick up point is perfect and easy to find also . Thanks again Martine for a fantastic day .

Beautiful, enchanting place. However, the description of the tour does not indicate how strenuous the walk and climb are I7n addition, our tour guide, Tom, had a very poor attitude, and was rude at times, taking away from the pleasure of the experience..

It was awesome day, Martina with full of stories, you will not feel alone anytime , she will explain each and everything which is really good, time was also enough, vehicle was also good & comfortable , only thing is i booked a small group but changed to a big one (18 ppl to 40 ppl) rest everything was perfect and well planned

Amazing experience in horrible conditions

Imagine this. It was down pouring rain the day of our visit to plitvice national park. I wish I could remember our tour guides name but he knows who he is. He was this tall Croatian guy. Tour guide said he never experience rain like that ever since he has been providing tours. Our tour guide not only stuck with us thru 9 miles of hiking in the pouring rain and muddy terrain. He maintained a positive attitude. He stuck with the group and made sure we all were taken care of. He made sure we got back safe and had a great experience. Great guide but better person! Couldn’t ask for anything more. I’d pay double the price for the service he provided.

Amazing experience

What a fantastic experience! Plitvice lakes was amazing and our tour guide Maja made the day even better. We were a small group of 8 people. Maya came on time 8:30 sharp, she greet everyone with a big smile and we hit the roads. On our way, shared a lot Croatian history facts, local habits and traditions. She answerd every question we hade and in general, made our day 10 times better! After Plitvice lakes, she drove us to a beautiful small village with waterfalls, called Rastoke,we had a tour of the village, took a lot of pictures and then we left back to Zagreb. 10 instructive and fun hours!! Congrats to Petros Tours for having Maya and congrats to Petros for the nicely organized daily trip. I definately recommend Viator and Petros tours.

I visited the Lakes in the low season, my group consisted of 8 people, and our guide was fantastic. The park is very well maintained and is truly a place that anyone who appreciates nature should visit. We also visited the small village of Rastok, with beautiful waterfalls. I would do it again.

Running looking at the ground and not enjoying

Worst military training. More than a guided nature tour, it looks like training for an aironman or triathlon. Not only that I didn’t leave time to contemplate a unique landscape that you can never see again, but that the guide that “accompanied” us on Saturday morning did not expect, did not look back, it did not matter if you had a problem or not. I think it's great that you have to follow an itinerary. But I don’t think it’s normal for the guide to go 6km/h on a hiking trail where you literally pay to enjoy the scenery. When the experience is over, the only thing you can remember is the ground since you can't look away because you fall, you don't remember the lakes. Shame on the truth. I remember we were all suffocating and she kept running, because she didn't walk, she ran and she didn't take into account the team she's in charge of. At the very least, you should be allowed time on each lake to watch, breathe, take pictures and if there are laggards, wait for them. You have to understand that people pay to enjoy the activity, to observe it, take pictures and remember it, if we want to do a triathlon we do not go there. Not to mention, when you finish the route through the lakes, suffocated and with a tremendous muscle overload. The bus isn't waiting for you where you end up, no. He's waiting 4 km from there. You have to walk uphill, with slopes and stairs until you reach the bus. I'll never understand that, right where the boat leaves you there's more than plenty of parking for me to pick you up there. What is the point of hiring a private bus tour if you then have to be the one looking for the bus? We pay for quality, for comfort. We didn't get any.
