What are people saying about Zagreb

An extraordinary tour for all ages!
Drako, our tour guide, is not just a fantastic tour guide, he's a superbly gifted and passionate teacher. He made 20th century Yugoslavian history and Croatia's 1990s war for independence from tyranny come alive. His thoughtful analysis of humanity's passion for war and its tendencies to slide to the extreme right (which often leads to the worst expressions of racial supremacy by one group and the grotesque use of religion to inspire it) is a sober reminder to all peoples of good will to be watchful or fall prey to our worst human instincts. Thank you, Drako, for making a crucial piece of Croatian history come alive!

An amazing Plitvice Lakes National Park Tour
It was a wonderful tour and the guide, Marko made it much easier for me. I had some knee problem and walked slower than others. He was always making sure I was ok during the walk and very patient with me. He is also very humorous and made the tour and the car ride more enjoyable! I really enjoyed this tour.

A walk around Zagreb
Our guide Petra was brilliant. She gave us an insight to Zagreb and Croatia which was interesting and showed us many sights that had been on our to do list. We were grateful that our group wasn't a large one as it meant we could ask many questions and could hear her over all other noises (as there was a demonstration that day in the square). She showed us the planet Venus which we would never have found (which wasn't on the itinerary) and really made the tour for us. I'd have no qualms in recommending a tour with Petra. She does more than just Zagreb as well so hopefully we can return and do those with her as well.

Worth the day trip
We really enjoyed our tour with Tomislav. The initial tour in Ljubljana showed us where the highlights were before we had a couple of hours to discover the city on our own. Then on to Lake Bled where we opted to be dropped off at the castle which has great views over the lake. It’s a steep walk back down, which Tomislav did tell us about, but enjoyable. Again, a few hours to ourselves, plenty of time to treat ourselves to the Bled cream cake after all the walking. Overall a great day trip. Thanks Tomislav.

Not seeing something you are looking for?

The central region of Croatia is an underrated part of the world where adventure and beauty await. A day trip from Zagreb allows you to explore more of the country many people don't see. From medieval towns like Samobor to the romantic Varazdin, there is no shortage of quaint baroque destinations to explore. For nature enthusiasts, Plitvice Lakes National Park boasts cascading waterfalls and stunning landscapes. And for those looking for a new country to cross off their travel bucket list, a dip into neighboring Slovenia's capital, Ljubljana, is just a short ride away.
