- Your guide will be available to assist you throughout the entire trip and guide you through the park.
- Approx. 8.5km (5.3mil) walk is the length of the walking tour in the park (highseason). You will see all the highlights, and don’t worry there are no big inclines so it’s an enjoyable walk.
- Some of the park may be restricted and is weather dependent.
- This tour will still operate in all weather conditions.
- Please note that from November 1st through March 31st, only Lower Lakes can be visited, and depending on weather conditions, the train and electric boats do not operate.

Hardly any info about the lakes. The tour guide was basically marching us around on a walk with little time for photos. There will always be selfish people on the tour that cause delays and make you wait around because their time is more important. The stop in the small town was a waste of time since they don't stop near anything nice to see. Glorified bathroom stop.

We're sorry to hear that the tour did not meet your expectations. However, we would like to clarify a few points for future travelers.
At the very beginning of the tour, our guide spends approximately 45 minutes introducing Croatia, its history, culture, and the regions we travel through. Before arriving at Plitvice Lakes National Park, there is another presentation of around 20 minutes on the bus dedicated specifically to the park, followed by an additional explanation at the park map before entering. We always encourage our guests to pay attention to these presentations, as they provide valuable information about both Croatia and the National Park and are an important part of the overall experience.
Our itinerary includes approximately 3.5 hours inside Plitvice Lakes National Park, and on the day of your tour, guests actually spent even more time in the park than originally planned.
Regarding Rastoke, the stop lasts around 40 minutes, which is generally enough to explore the entire village. Rastoke is a small historic settlement with only a handful of houses and residents, so this amount of time is typically sufficient to see all of its highlights. While we understand that not every stop appeals equally to every traveler, many of our guests appreciate the opportunity to explore this unique village.
As with any shared group tour, the pace can occasionally be affected by other participants. Our guides do their best to keep the group on schedule while ensuring that everyone can enjoy the experience safely.
For guests looking for a more personalized pace and experience, we also offer a Small Group tour with fewer participants. We would be happy to welcome you on one of those tours in the future.

Marko was a knowledgeable and funny guide. He set very clear expectations so we always knew to expect. He was also very patient with our large group. We visited Plitvice Lakes first. It was a lot of walking with a few steeper climbs on trails or boardwalks, but worth every step. Marko timed our arrival at one of the lakes and we got to see the water in a beautiful torquoise colour. We then visited the small town of Rastoke, which gave us a nice break from a long day. Definitely try the ice cream shop with their various topings. I highly recommend this tour, especially if you're going with Marko.

Fantastic experience. I was concerned about spending 10 hours on a tour, but the day went so fast and the waterfalls were well worth the distance. The bus was comfortable and the AC was good. Sara and Marko were great guides and kept us on track

You wont find a better guide than Saša. He is extremely knowledgeable about the history of Croatia and teaches it with passion. His other passions include world sports. Following him through the park is a treat. He knows all the secrets, stories, and how to navigate Plitvice successfully. On the way back to Zagreb Saša walked us through local cuisine. We're headed out now to sample some of the restaurants that were recommended.

The park is beautiful but if I had to do it again I would choose a private tour cause this felt rushed by our guide walking fast. I think would have been better to go down to the bottom in the am and come back around so everyone could have enjoyed the experience.
Anyway it is a extraordinary place worth visiting

Had a good time with our driver / guide . He was knowledgeable and explained about Zagreb earthquake and why so much of the city is undergoing renovation . Rostoke village is a magical little town….Plitvice Lakes are a sight to behold . So much beauty surrounding us the waterfalls , the colours of the lakes . And a boat ride on the lake … serenity . Truly a breathtaking experience. Recommend this tour highly .

Fabulous tour. This was not just a glorified taxi, this was a guided trip around d the lakes with a very knowledgeable person. Sasha was on time, funny and knew his way round the park like the back of his hand. We avoided the crowds and got great pictures. safe driving, clear instructions and back to Zagreb on time! Great day out - totally recommend.

The lakes are a natural wonder; I have not seen anything quite like them before. The trip was well organised, with a perfect mix of walking and riding (including a boat trip), and views of the lakes from above and close at hand. Our guide was exceptionally friendly, informative and helpful.

Sasha was a fantastic driver and guide who gave us an excellent talk about Croatian history while driving to Plitvice NP. He answered questions willingly and honestly and it was fabulous to spend the day with him. Plitvice NP was exceptionally beautiful as well as interesting and educational. The walk of around 10km was breathtaking.

The two places were so beautiful. Didn't expect to see so much snow though it is spring now. Guide mentioned the park was closed few days ago due to heavy snow. We were blessed with good weather (no rain)

We really enjoyed this tour. The lakes and waterfalls were just beautiful and the guide was really friendly and knowledgeable. There was a lot of walking, but my husband is 71 and I am 61 and we managed it without any trouble. It was easy to find the minibus at the meeting place - there were five other people joining us for the tour. It was a long day with about 4-4.5 hours in the minibus, but well worth it. Thanks!

Sasha was an awesome guide! We had an amazing time at the park. The lower canyons weren’t open for hiking due to it being winter but Sasha made sure we had the best hike in the upper canyons. He is extremely knowledgeable and also funny. Highly recommend

Tour guide was very informative and entertaining, knowledgeable about both the Plitvice Lakes and croatian culture, cuisine, etc. with some great recommendations regardless of the planned activity. Entire trip was very comfortable and fun and the lakes themselves can't get enough praise. Gorgeous waterfalls and lakes, especially idyllic in the wintertime while parts are still frozen.

This has been one of the best tours we’ve done! The area was beautiful and our guide marco was incredible! His knowledge and love of the area really comes through in the tour and we would 100% do it again and again with marco as our guide!
We visited in a major snow storm and worried we wouldn’t be able to get there but he made us feel so safe driving through the snow and then guided us around every inch of the park we were allowed to in the conditions
We plan to come back in better weather to see the rest
