We would definitely recommend this tour!! You will taste a variety of local foods, see some of the highlights of the city center, and learn some Croatian history. Although it is a walking tour, it is at a leisure pace with lots of stops. The food was delicious and there was a lot of it! Our tour guide was wonderful!!

This food tour was the highlight of our visit to Zagreb.
Ivana, our tour guide, was born and raised in Zagreb and is extremely knowledgeable about the local cuisine. Every stop offered authentic dishes, and she explained the history and traditions behind each one in a way that made the experience both delicious and educational.
She also did a great job answering our questions about Croatia.

Great experience with Ena. She provided us with a wonderful history of the food culture in Croatia. We stopped at several restaurants as well as the local market. This tour also included a taste of local liquor, Food portions were generous and tasted delicious. Ena is a lovely knowledgeable guide.

Ivan’s our tour guide was amazingly knowledgeable about the history of Croatia. Croatian food and the provinces are regions that it came from. It was a wonderful tour. The tastings were fabulous and you definitely get plenty of food. It is highly worth the money.

Our guide Ivana was wonderful, very knowledgeable and the right amount history to go along with the food…….the food! The portions were huge, definitely come hungry and be prepared to eat!! I’ve done many food tours around the world and have never seen portions like this! A good way to start our first morning in Zagreb!

Diana was a wonderful guide through Zagreb, learning about the local food scene. We tasted multiple foods- from the market, 2 meat dishes, local liquors, cheese and olives, baked chesse dishes, and chocolate! It was a perfect combination, not much walking, the ideal way to learn about and sample Croatian dishes. Plenty to eat. Highly recommend.

Oh my. Diana was the best. You can tell she loves her job, works hard in her languages and knowledge even threw in some history. She took time to build relationships with us and you could see the comraderie With the vendors, where we ate. It was our favorite time spent in Zagreb. We loved the picnic part . Was delighted that my friend and I ended up with a personal food tour. Our guide Ivana was so warm and welcoming. We learned a to about the Zagreb area related to both history and food. We had a few tastes from the local markets as well as restaurants, local food goods and desserts of course. We were stuffed! We enjoyed the entire experience and would highly recommend to anyone who visits.

Exceptional food tour. The guide was full of fun facts and did a great job of introducing Croatian culture and food. The group was a good size and the guide made sure the whole group had all their needs and questions addressed. Not to mention all the food was yummy. Highly recommend! Go very hungry!!!

Ivana, our guide, was extremely enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Before we started, she asked about food allergies and preferences. Then she tailored the selections to the group. She explained the custom of family loyalty. We love that she supported local small businesses as well as the new businesses while letting us sample traditional fair. She explained the multiple historical and regional influences on Croatian food. Everything was delicious and there was more than plenty of food. We highly recommend skipping breakfast and maybe only eating a light dinner the night before taking this tour. A Must Do for foodies and enjoyable for all.
